« I find it very difficult to review this. The staff were absolutely lovely as were the other guests. However, I felt very misled by the advertising. It was extremely noisy (I was woken at 4 am by footsteps above my room and as the people upstairs were dancers, I cannot think anything except it has zero sound insulation). I also didn’t realize it would not provide towels. I paid £95 and then was expected to pay £2 for a towel. Breakfast included was rice crispies or oats. Completely misleading...

« The room was really nicely decorated and spacious enough for my stay. Bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Only downside was that there are no facilities nearby as the pub is no longer functioning, however being brought up in Halifax I know my way around so this wasn't a problem. Complimentary breakfast items was a nice touch even though it is advertised as room only. »

« A very convenient setting for the visit of myself and my wife plus our Cavalier King Charles Dog called Bella, to our daughter who lives in Bramhope. Very helpful staff and the breakfast's were excellent. My only gripe was the charge of £15.00 a night for four nights for our little dog who makes no mess and surely a thorough clean of the room at the end of our stay would suffice. »

« Excellent for the price I paid. Rooms have recently been renovated and it showed. The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm. Would definitely stay there again. Big thank you to Jamie who so very kindly let me check in early. »

« When i arrived I was not sure where to go and got to meet Ralphaldo who is the concierge that put me straight in the hotel's golf buggy and took me to the reception. He was great to talk to and was a lovely person to chat with and so cheerful. The suite was amazing and spacious, it was also clean and spotless. The staff were lovely and were extremely helpful in the restaurants and made wonderful suggestions. The food was amazing, each restaurant was great and had their own wonderful menus »

« This is such a cute and convenient bed & breakfast! Keyless entry made checking in/out super easy. Loved the adorable room which had a great bathroom and lovely amenities in the form of a tea kettle, coffee, tea, milk. Very walkable, very close to both train and town center. Would absolutely stay here again!! »

« Hôtel très bien, mais il est à côté de l'autoroute, si la chambre est située sur ce côté, c'est vraiment très dérangeant. Le personnel ne parle pas français, c'est dommage pour un établissement hôtelier. »

« My second time here but first since the name change. It was a lovely grand room. Very comfortable My only ding was that the grout between the tiles in the shower needed cleaning. A bit mildewed »
