Cet appartement est idĂ©alement situĂ© au coeur de la magnifique CarthagĂšne coloniale, qui est un quartier trĂšs sĂ»r. C'est un jet de pierre de la cathĂ©drale du 16Ăšme siĂšcle et aussi oĂč Sir Francis Drake a vĂ©cu quand il a capturĂ© la ville.

À distance de marche: restaurants raffinĂ©s, musĂ©es, Ă©glises, les belles rues de CarthagĂšne et ses fortifications. Un peu plus loin, nĂ©cessitant un trajet en taxi, le spectaculaire fort San Felipe et le monastĂšre au sommet de la montagne La Popa.

L'appartement en lui-mĂȘme est bien amĂ©nagĂ© et dĂ©corĂ©, idĂ©al pour deux couples. Le bĂątiment dispose d'une piscine pour la nage en longueur au niveau de la rue ainsi que d'un espace de bronzage et de dĂ©tente sur le toit. Il a un portier en tout temps.

La visite quotidienne d'une femme de mĂ©nage est incluse, sauf le dimanche et les jours fĂ©riĂ©s. Elle peut Ă©galement ĂȘtre embauchĂ©e pour prĂ©parer le dĂ©jeuner.

Les agences de voyages à proximité ou les bateaux sur le quai au sud-est de l'appartement peuvent organiser une visite en bateau des fortifications de la baie, des ßles Rosario et de l'aquarium.

We loved our week stay here! Marta is an incredible help and perhaps the nicest host we have ever had, and we have had exceptional experiences with VRBO. The apartment has everything one could need to be at home while on vacation, and there is nowhere else in the city I would have preferred to stay. Thank you for allowing us to stay, and we hope to return soon!

We loved our stay here. The pool was lovely, beds comfortable and it was centrally located. We felt very safe here. The apartment was basic but suited our needs perfectly. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was welcomed after a long day.

We stayed at the property for a full week. What a great place. Marta was very responsive if we had questions. Very easy to get around in the walled city and the apartment has a doorman and we felt very safe. The race festivities were just blocks away along with wonderful cafes and restaurants.

We could not have been more pleased with this charming apartment in Cartagena from the original art to the stunning view from the balcony, comfortable beds, air conditioned bedrooms and the ground floor pool. It was delightful. We stayed mid-January to mid-March with temps between 85 and 90 degrees and high humidity. Multiple ceiling fans and and open layout with balmy breezes was a daily plus. Our host Marta could not have been more welcoming, responsive and accommodating. She is a delightful person. Aydee and Victor our two on-site support staff were there when we needed them and very accepting of our minimal Spanish. We stayed for two months and were sad to leave. Thank you for our outstanding Cartagena experience. Jill & Dana

Location is excellent. Ideal for exploring city center on foot. Apartment in rear of building with view was quieter than street side. Main building provided 24 hour security with courteous doorman. However, some doors and windows in apartment could not be properly secured. Some amenities not working or not usable as advertised in listing. Property manager very responsive to problems that maintenance man could repair. Maintenance man provided excellent service when he could. Overall, apartment while old, has colonial city charm. While clean, food and some out of date items from previous tenants should have been removed.

This is a pleasant apartment, and the location couldn’t be better, but the management was really unresponsive and bad. Unfortunately, I was not communicating with the owner, who is apparently unwell, but with someone else. Problems started when I tried to book. I got an automated message authorizing it right away, but I had some questions. These took days to answer. Then I tried to book using the email I was sent, but maybe because so much time had passed, it double booked me and locked me out. I sent repeated messages to the owner to fix it, and called vrbo, who called them with no response. This took at least another day to resolve. We were sent an address, but no instructions as to where it is located. Apparently there are names as well as numbers for streets, and things are generally identified by landmarks. We arrived around 1 a.m. and the taxi driver couldn’t find the place. We drove around and around for more than half an hour looking and trying to call the owner. The manager finally answered and said it was on the Plaza Bolivar, a main plaza. We had to pay the taxi extra because of failure to send any kind of directions,

Great location, incredible views, friendly and helpful doorpeople and housekeeper. Airy rooms with interesting art and a/c in bedrooms. Lap pool. Kitchen could be updated, but was totally functional. All in all, a great place to stay!

Very nice apartment centrally located in the heart of the old city. Just step out the front door and it’s all there. Nicely decorated, and fully equipped. Safe and secure. Carlos, one of the doormen was very helpful throughout our stay. First time in Cartagena and Colombia and we will definitely be back again.

Jaime's apartment was the perfect base for our explorations of Cartagena. Check-in was via the building's door man, Carlos. The bedrooms are air conditions, which was a welcome relief each night from the heat of Cartagena. Amenities in the building were also excellent. Would stay again!

Jaime's apartment is beautiful, and the real gem of this place is the rooftop. It has one of the best views in all of Cartagena. Staying at Jaime's apartment was a great experience. The only problem for us was that the Wifi never worked. Other than that, we had a great stay and loved the apartment.

This apartment is in a great location in old town Cartagena. It is right on the plaza bolivar, but is very quiet. We are a couple with two teenagers and they loved having their own room and using the pool. Would highly recommend this apartment

From my first contact with questions for the owner all the way through our correspondence while staying in his apartment, Jaime was responsive & helpful. This apartment is beautiful! The building is in a great location. There’s a 24 hour mini mart nearby with everything you might need, though other grocers have more selection & better prices. Since most of the apartments in the building are inhabited by locals, it’s easy to feel like you’re part of the local neighborhood very quickly. The 3 people at the front desk who rotate as doormen (door-woman) are very sweet and helpful, as is Aydee who comes to tidy up 6 days/week. Plaza Bolivar is close to everything, but feels a little more tranquil than other locations. It’s really the best of everything. There are enough vendors to keep you supplied with fruit, coffee & snacks, in addition to some good restaurants nearby. But most of the people hanging out in the plaza are local, so it feels less touristy. Skip the coffee next door at Juan Valdez & support one of the men selling equally delicious coffee in the plaza. It’s peaceful, but just on the other side of the Plaza are the Cathedral, many vendors & a quick walk to everything – including the clock tower plaza, one of the main gateways into the walled city. My companion was perfectly comfortable with A/C only in the bedrooms, but for me, it was hot in the main area. This would be my only complaint – however, the apartment’s open air floor plan is what really makes it special and I can’t imagine ever having the terrace doors closed (I’m not sure there are doors, now that I think about it!). Whether sitting in the main room or actually out on the terrace, the view & feel of the apartment are stunning! I just left and already want to return to Cartagena 
. and cannot imagine staying anywhere else. This apartment is wonderful!
