  • L'historique McCabe-Lancaster House se trouve en face de l'océan et à quelques pas de l'accès à la plage. avec un stand de sauveteur. Il y a une allée circulaire avec un grand parking à l'arrière. C'est un cottage de plage classique avec un plan d'étage ouvert et un charme nostalgique. Les deux niveaux de cette maison peuvent être loués individuellement ou comme une maison entière. Le premier étage comprend une rampe d'accès pour personnes à mobilité réduite et une salle de bain avec porte pour handicapés, 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain, une grande cuisine, un salon et un coin repas. Le niveau supérieur comprend 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain, une grande cuisine et des coins salon et repas.

    Les niveaux supérieur et inférieur sont accessibles de l'extérieur. Chaque étage a un grand porche ouvert avec balançoire, rockers, table et chaises. Il y a une douche extérieure commune aux deux unités ainsi qu'un parking pour voiturettes de golf et une station de charge pouvant accueillir deux voiturettes. Sur demande, un lit portable et une chaise haute peuvent être mis à disposition.

    Ceci est une unité non-fumeurs. Animaux interdits.

Family gathering

This place was exactly as described; quite old, but charming and perfectly adequate, easy walk to the beach, and clean. As other reviewers have noted, if there are upstairs guests, you hear them, but fortunately the folks there while we were visiting were considerate, and we were not disturbed.

Had a great week!

We had a wonderful week, with 5 adults and 2 children, ages 4 to 76 and plenty of room for us in this charming house. . The beautiful beach was only a several minute walk away. Restaurants, the Boardwalk, and several grocery stores were an easy drive. If we vacation again at lovely Carolina Beach, we would definitely stay in this historic cottage.

Enjoyed time at the beach. This house was close to beach but in a quieter section of the area. Liked that it was handicapped accessible. Did have one concern when one of the beds collapsed--but we adapted and vacationed on.

Cute historic house with charm close to the beach was perfect for our family of 6. Only negative would be that if you're in the lower unit, the upper unit can seem a bit loud.

Our place was very nice. Location was good. Beach was good. Very dirty ocean due to storm first 3/4 days. Cleared up some on Friday and Saturday. Beautiful weather the entire time. Really enjoyed the time there. One problem though, a family of 8 moved in on Friday morning at 3:00. They were very loud. They were loud the entire time I will only rent a one story for one family next time I stay with you. They showed no respect for our family on the 1st level but that’s ok. I learned what to request next time. Thank you

Nice like cottage, enjoyed the stay

Great Lil cottage walking distance to Carolina Beach (to the left). Has a breakfast sandwich take out half a block, good quick morning eats. Would like a little more sound proofing between floors. I was on the bottom floor, which has a nice covered front porch and swing. Plenty of room to have a family sit and eat outside. Would stay again, except we missed our dog. A no pet property.

Annual family vacation at beach.

815 Carolina Beach Road was a lovely place to stay. It had adequate seating at the table and enough beds for the family. Home was clean and fresh and had everything in the kitchen we needed. Would definitely recommend it. Parking was the best we have had in several years staying at the beach.

It had all the kitchen utensils you needed to cook with. It has a great location right across the street from the beach access. My family loved having a bit of a backyard to play in as well. The only thing I think the cottage needs is a grill. But other than that perfect!
