Stylish Lodge on popular holiday park, easy access to Lakes and Dales and free parking

The lodge is located within the popular South Lakeland Leisure Village. Minutes from the M6 and within easy reach of the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, Arnside and Silverdale (Areas of Outstanding Beauty) and Morecambe Bay, the Village has all the amenities you'd expect to keep the whole family entertained (Park passes will need to be purchased). So whether you're looking to stay on site, or explore further afield, this is a great base for making some wonderful family holiday memories!

The Lodge:
The Lodge is all on one level but there are four steps up to the decking. It sleeps six in three bedrooms (two twin and one double) and there is a space for two cars to park right outside.
Enter through the front door and turn left towards the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner area. Here you'll find a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, gas hob, oven, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle), a dining table and island and a lounge area with a smart TV, electric fire and access to the deck.
Turning right when you enter the lodge takes you to the two twin bedrooms, the shower room and the master bedroom with and ensuite toilet and TV.

You will have the whole property to yourself.

Parking and Public Transport:
There is a parking space for two cars outside the lodge and further parking located near the park's reception, shop, bar, restaurant and pool.
Carnforth rail station is approximately 2.5 miles, 10 minute drive away. It also has bus stops nearby. There is a bus stop, 'Pine Lake' just outside the Village.

We Provide:
We provide complimentary tea and coffee, as well as travel sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there are three supermarkets in Carnforth; Aldi, Tesco and local supermarket Booths, all less than a 10 min drive from the Leisure Village.

Check-in and Check out:
The property is set up to allow remote access with easy self check-in meaning that no direct contact with anyone is needed.
Please note: Check-in is from 16:00 and Check-out is before 10:00

Additional Fees/Charges:
A pre-authorisation charge of ÂŁ100 will be applied to your credit card 24 hours before checkout as a damage deposit. This will be automatically refunded if not needed 10 days after checkout.
A ÂŁ50 charge will be requested if you check out or check in up to an hour outside the set times without prior permission and an extra night's rate for any time greater than this.
There will be a ÂŁ50 call out fee if keys are locked inside the property and a ÂŁ100 fee if keys are lost or not left in the key safe on your departure.

Please note that per the house rules, BBQ's are not allowed in or near the lodge. Please ask at Reception for BBQ friendly areas on site if you wish to BBQ.
No BBQ's are allowed in or near the lodge. Please ask at Park reception whether you can BBQ on site.
Hot tub hire is strictly prohibited.
Extra guests are not allowed unless you are advised otherwise.
Respect for our neighbours is much appreciated so we ask you to keep the noise down between 10pm and 7am.
Please note that check in time is from 4pm and check out is before 10am. Unless you have advance approval for an early check in or late check out, these will be charged at ÂŁ50 for up to an hour and an extra night's rate for any time greater than an hour.
A fee of ÂŁ100 will be charged if the keys are not left in the off-site key safe upon departure. We will also charge a callout fee of ÂŁ50 if you lock the keys inside the property.
Please leave the property in a similar state to when you arrived and lock all doors and windows.

Lovely little holiday lodge

We stayed for seven days - two adults and two teenage children. What we loved:The location was great - not far from The Lakes and the Yorkshire Dales. The lodge was spotless and had everything we needed for the week. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and when we had some questions, they were answered promptly. The holiday park was quiet and by two lakes, which made for a nice scenery. There is an on-site 'pub' which was convenient - it was reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and nice. Having a pool for the kids was a bonus, so was the gym. The park next door had a watersport center, which was great - the kids enjoyed some kayaking - if the weather had been nicer, we would have done paddle boarding and used some of the water toys. What we didn't like: The beds in the lodge could do with an upgrade - I can't remember the last time I slept on an old-fashioned spring mattress. A dishwasher would have been nice! What we didn't like about the holiday park:The gym is dated and as it's for the general public, it was quite busy. I needed to wash my gym stuff afterwards - there was only one working washing machine for the whole park! The pool didn't have a lifeguard so my 11- and 14-year-old were not allowed in there on their own. So, one of us adults had to go in with them - instead of enjoying some peace and quiet. Not only that - but we also had to pay to go in as well - 25 for three of us, which meant we only used the pool twice.

Stunning chalet

Absolutely amazing chalet exactly as photos and description. Lovely quiet location. We enjoyed quiet walks around the park. Very clean, comfortable beds and pillows. Self check in and out was very simple. I cannot recommend this property enough. I would love to return when next visiting the Lake District.
