Overall this house was very clean and the owners take care of their house. But luxury should not be included in the title of this. Rustic for sure, but nothing about this house is luxurious. We left after 1 night of a 5 night rental.This house comes with as many rules as their are pots, pans, utensils around the kitchen - a lot. From the moment you walk in the door, you are bombarded by the many many DONTs that this place imposes on you - and all in 9 point font - so bring your reading glasses.If you want to make any noise outside that may be heard from the street (only a few feet away) then this is not the house for you. This includes listening to any music whatsoever when you are in the hot tub (eventhough built in speakers can be seen mouted to roofline above you).Everything is old and lumpy. The sofas are as lumpy as the beds. Not comfortable at all. Everything seems to be many many years old.DIY install of refrigerator still shows chisel marks and exposed dryall where owner seems to have cut the hole in the wall himself. I'm all for DIY projects, but this is another example less than luxury.Upstairs is just creepy and dark. Personal opinion here, but going upstairs was odd. Because it was so dark, low ceiling height, crammed together beds, and many clear tubs (and used soda cups and straws from years gone by) were under beds.
