Set in a wooded valley, Old Oak Barn provides warm, spacious and comfortable holiday accommodation for 4. This beautiful barn conversion has been lovingly restored and offers the perfect family friendly getaway. It is particularly suitable for children and those who wish to explore and enjoy the outdoor life. Although re-listed with Great Welsh Escapes portfolio in May 2026, this property has been a successful and very popular holiday let for many years with previous owners, and hundreds of 5 star reviews from guests.

Tastefully furnished and with all mod cons, the barn is light and airy and is kept warm and cosy all year round with underfloor heating fuelled by logs from the owner's sustainably managed woodlands.

Enter the spacious kitchen offering everything you need to rustle up delicious meals. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and contains all you may need for a short break or longer holiday. Dishwasher, washing machine, oven and ceramic hob, fridge, microwave, and plenty of storage space.

The large living room has vaulted ceilings with stunning exposed beams and french doors to the patio. There is also a large dining table, perfect for enjoying an evening meal or playing games.

There are two simply furnished bedrooms, one consisting of a double bed with two sets of drawers and hangers, and one twin with two single beds, hanging space and storage cupboard. Both bedrooms have remote control blackout blinds at the Velux rooflights. A travel cot is available upon request. The cottage is one level with a step to enter each of the bedrooms.

The bathroom is a good size, with underfloor heating, a power shower over a bath.

As well as the patio area there are many outdoor dens for guests to enjoy, including the woods, and a variety of outdoor furniture. The owners' welcome families at Old Oak Barn and have given lots of attention to children's needs so that both they, and you have a magical holiday, making wonderful memories. Children will be able to enjoy walks in the woodlands, an onsite swings and fire pit and a mud kitchens. There are plenty of books and games which are popular with visitors who also enjoy BBQs on the fire pit on the south facing patio. There is a cot and highchair available for use and toddler toilet seat and step.

The cottage has fast, reliable Starlink wifi.
