1) The place - a beautiful building with individual decorated rooms. Everywhere is immaculately clean. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The outside space is stunning - well cared for garden, pristine pool, loungers, chairs and lots of quiet areas if you want to sneak away and read a book in peace, but space for little ones to run off some energy too.
2) The food - do not look around for places for evening meals - the dinners cooked by Amelie and her Mum are absolutely delicious and incredible value for money. Menus were decided that day - so if you, or your children, have any requirements they will cater to them. Breakfasts were wonderful too - pastries, breads, fruit, cheese, eggs - all freshly prepared and so good you always ate too much. Amelia has a young daughter and completely understands what types of food children do and do not like. And has introduced new foods to our 3 year old over the stay which I would never have thought to offer.
3) The area - loved exploring the area, so much to do - castles, caves and the coast is within easy reach. Driving from Toulouse airport was easy, although Carcassonne airport is very close if you wanted to make transfer even easier.
