It’s best known for the beautiful Lake Ginninderra, which is surrounded by sprawling parkland, beaches, walking paths and playgrounds. The town centre spreads out from Westfield Belconnen, which offers a range of Australian retailers. The lake foreshore reveals a collection of waterfront restaurants and the popular Belconnen Arts Centre.

Public transport

The Belconnen Interchange is about 650 metres from the apartment on Cohen Street. It has multiple bus lines running regularly to the city centre and Canberra Airport in between 25 and 40 minutes.
