Location d'hiver - Charmant Cottage Bungalow Sears & Roebuck

Location d'hiver! Les locataires d'hiver précédents ont été des professionnels travaillant dans l'hôpital voisin et les installations de réadaptation. Très bien situé en ville! Ce chalet confortable est situé dans une rue calme composée principalement des maisons des années 1930 Sears & Roebuck. Il est à seulement 3 pâtés de maisons du centre-ville de Camden où vous attendent de charmants magasins, restaurants, galeries, bibliothèque et le magnifique port. Le YMCA est situé à 800 mètres de la maison. Laite Beach est à environ 2 pâtés de maisons.

Le chalet est entièrement meublé et bien équipé avec des meubles de style "Pottery Barn". Il y a 2 chambres avec chacune un lit queen. L'étage est une zone loft pour enfants avec 2 lits jumeaux. Il y a une salle de bain complète en bas avec baignoire / douche. Tous les draps et les serviettes sont inclus. Il y a une laveuse et une sécheuse au sous-sol.

La maison a un porche fermé avec des chaises et un futon pour une occasion de sieste supplémentaire. Le garage détaché offre une escapade rustique avec des chaises de style Adirondack et une table pour une lecture tranquille ou des projets. Un barbecue à charbon de bois est également fourni.

Everything in the cottage was pristine and tastefully appointed. What a great tiny kitchen! And the neighborhood was quiet, yet walkable to the beach and to the great shops and restaurants in downtown Camden. I was sad to leave at the end of our stay but hope to return again soon. Catherine was quite responsive and answered any questions I had very quickly.

My husband and I spent two weeks in this lovely home! Quaint house

Very nice well maintained house in a quiet neighborhood just a 10 minute walk to the town center. Very well stocked with supplies and includes a washer and dryer. Lots to do in the area both outside (hiking) and inside (museums). The best restaurant we went to was Archers on the Pier in Rockland; the best pub was Seadog in Camden town center.

We had a fantastic stay. The house, amenities and supplies were wonderful. Location is perfect and easily walkable to shops, restaurants , parks and beaches. Really nice quite neighborhood and the neighbors are quite friendly. Everything is ready to go for a great stay with no trouble finding anything we needed. Kitchen is well equipped. Sweet Camden Cottage

My husband and I stayed in this charming cottage for 16 nights while the floors in our home were being refinished. The cottage is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, within walking distance to downtown Camden. The house is bright, cozy and nicely decorated, with a modern kitchen that is well equipped with anything you could possibly need. Catherine, the owner, is an exceptional host - very responsive, kind and a joy to work with!! We highly recommend Jacob's Cottage!!

Comfy cottage in Camden

We enjoyed a three week stay whilst our home was being remodeled. The cottage is set up with all the comforts of home. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and we loved a hot bath at the end of our winter day. Catherine is very responsive and kind. We also loved getting to know the neighbors, all very friendly. Mornings and evenings we loved walking our doggie around town and down to the waterfront park. Gorgeous! We would definitely return to this lovely home in the future and recommend it to visitors. Only a short two blocks to shopping, harbor restaurants and the waterfront. Cheers!

Perfect for a fall adventure

I wanted to take one of my adult kids on a Maine Coastal Vacation with lots of hiking. The Camden state park has lots of great trails and we were willing to make the drive up to Arcadia too. That is about 80 Miles north. The house was fantastic. It is extremely well maintained and vary inviting. It is walking distance from down town which was very handy. The town was quite busy because we were likely peak or near peak "peeper season". It was nice to be able to walk to restaurants and shops. We got lucky, the color was amazing, and we even happened to see the northern lights. If the Camden area is your destination, I would definitely recommend this place.

Solo in Camden

I stayed solo for about a week and also had my artist mates for a 3 day weekend. The house is small and quaint, bright sunny rooms, and just enough beachy kitsch to make it fun. Just how it should be in Maine. The kitchen works with 2 cooks, but no more. The porch bed is delightful even in April if you like sleeping in cool temps. This house has everything you could possibly need. Laundry machines are incredible and looked brand new. Towels and linens were very nice. Even the magazines and books were things I would read. Only faults were that the beds are memory foam mattresses (which is not my favorite), bedrooms are tiny without drawers for unpacking and some dog hairs stuck in rugs and upholstery. I would 100% stay here again.

My family and I stayed in this lovely little house for the month of December. I grew up in Camden, but live in Nashville with my wife and kids. I was excited to have a winter adventure with the family...and we did! The house was very comfortable for the four of us. I grew up in a house with radiator heat, but the heat in this house is next level, or maybe it's the insulation, either way this house is COZY on the coldest days. Everyone was very comfortable. Our boys slept in the upstairs room and loved it. There are two queen beds both very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of linens (as well as a washer/ dryer) on site. The neighborhood is perfectly situated for walks into town and the neighbors themselves are lovely and very welcoming. Catherine was a delight to deal with we hope to stay here again in the future! I can't say enough good things about this place!

A cozy cold weather bungalow

I stayed here for three months while attending the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship. It was the perfect choice. It's on a quiet side street near the village that is always plowed. The neighbors are amazing. One day they noticed my car was still in the driveway on a weekday and they checked on me. (Really bad cold that day) I felt very welcome and even decorated for Halloween and Christmas. Cathy, the owner, is very responsive and easy to work with. The house itself is charming, bright and decorated nicely. The couch, where I spent a lot of my time was very comfortable. I never had a bad night's sleep in the master bedroom. (All the quiet took a little getting used to for this city boy) One thing that stands out is that I was never ever cold. Radiant heat throughout the house and not a draft to be found. Cozy. I know no one believes a review without at least one nit pick. Honestly the only one that I can come up with is that I wish the sink faucet had a spray attachment. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and was surprised how much I missed it. This is a property I would definately return to.

Perfect Camden Cottage

Cosy home, perfect for family holiday, fantastic location

We had 2 cosy weeks in this cottage with our 1.5 y.old. House is charming and the neighborhood is quaint. Perfect street for little kids to run around. House had really all practical things we needed, including fully stocked kitchen. Owner even bought a baby bed and high chair for our use, all ready before our arrival. Camden is an amazing beautiful town. We did daytrips but also enjoyed just walking to and in town. Public library with readings for kids and playroom is a plus, as well as 2 playgrounds. All in walking distance. Many thanks Cathy! Our maine holiday was memorable.
