The villa is set on a good sized plot in the charming village of Cambieure, it boasts a private garden with plenty of outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. There are a choice of outside seating areas offering sun and shade, and when the garden and pool are lit up in the evening, it becomes a delightful place to be. The village itself offers a serene environment, with a few local restaurants just a short drive away. The beautiful town of Limoux is nearby, known for its vibrant atmosphere, is only a 15 minute drive away. WiFi, pool heating and air conditioning/ heating are included in the bedrooms and living space.

Villa de l'Ormeau enjoys a countryside location in the small and peaceful village of Cambieure where you can enjoy art and nature. In Cambieure, you can visit the Jean-Francois Scalbert - Kinetic Art gallery, which is about a 5 minute drive from the villa, offering guided tours by appointment. The village and its surroundings also provide beautiful landscapes perfect for leisurely walks. Local restaurants are just a short 10 minute drive away, where you can savor delicious regional dishes. The villa is just a 15 minutes’ drive from Limoux, a beautiful town on the river Aude with lovely restaurants and bars around its main square. It’s set in the heart of Cathar country in glorious nature, and in an environment known for its slightly cooler summers. The location makes an ideal starting base for many hikes and discoveries, both natural and cultural. From the famous medieval fortified city of Carcassonne, 30 minutes’ drive away and the well-known Canal du Midi, there’s plenty to see. Day excursions could include trips to the endless miles of golden sandy beaches or wandering around beautiful cities such as Toulouse, known as La Ville Rose, Narbonne, and Mirepoix. All are perfect examples of traditional French towns full of history, amazing architecture, weekly markets and fantastic bars and restaurants.
