Panoramic views of sea | Moradia Falesia

In the hills above the picturesque fishing village of CĂąmara de Lobos and only a 10-minute drive to Funchal, Moradia Falesia is a beautifully furnished house with breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and sea.
Its location makes it the perfect option for everyone - those wanting to be in a sunny area, seeking tranquillity, preferring to be close to town, looking to explore Madeira, or seeking the perfect house for a long stay for either leisure or work.
Being perched on the hillside, it has an upside-down layout. The carport leads to the first landing which accesses both the office and the rooftop sundeck.
On floor below are the three bedrooms (two of which have panoramic sea-view), and two bathrooms.
The living area occupies the floor below. The stairs open to the spacious sitting area with the large flatscreen TV, and which leads via patio doors to the front terrace with outdoor seating and steps to the sloping mature garden; imagine yourself relaxing, taking in the views of the sea and Cabo GirĂŁo (the second highest cliff in the world) and enjoying the beautiful sunsets!
Behind the lounge is the fully equipped kitchen with dining table. A patio door leads to the rear terrace where you will find a covered built-in barbecue and separate laundry room.

Nearby
The nearest supermarket is 2 Km away. There are various traditional restaurants in the surrounding area, Varandas do Pedregal being only 450m away.
The nearest town is the picturesque fishing village of Cùmara de Lobos (where Churchill famously painted), 2.4 Km away, and here you will find larger branded supermarkets, cafés and a good variety of restaurants and the nearest beach. It is the home of the famous poncha cocktail, made with sugar cane rum, and around the old town centre water well are numerous bars that specialise in this drink, each with their own special recipe.
The municipalities of CĂąmara de Lobos and Funchal run into each other, and the centre of Funchal is an easy 10 minute drive away (9 Km).
Being close to the expressway, Moradia Falesia is the perfect base from which to explore Madeira’s beautiful countryside and majestic mountains.

Madeira

The advertised prices are generally based on a 2 person occupancy.
Supplements apply should anyone join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A security deposit of 300€ is required to be paid prior to check-in by bank transfer.
Minimum stay: 07 nights
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:

At the end of the sliproad, turn left up the hill.

Immediately after, take the first left up the hill, signposted Garachico, teleferico, Cabo Girão,

Climb for 400 metres and you will a row of houses on the left and road turn-off to the left.

Beautiful and practical house

The house worked for us very well. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, eating in the terrace looking at the incredible view, sleeping in good beds. There was a problem with the wi-fi during the 5 week stay, however. That was a bit frustrating. However, our main focus was hiking and being active and finding new, interesting areas in the island.Can warmly recommend Moradia Falesia!

Amazing views

The house was really nice, it has everything you need we felt like home. All as described online. The view from the house was AMAZING!! We enjoyed so much waking up to all that every morning, specially to watch the sunrise from the rooftop. The owner was very helpful and communicative specially when we had issues with internet. These issues persisted fir the last week if our trip but he was definitely trying to help

Stunning property

Beautiful home with spectacular views. The house was very large and well laid out. Good location as it was very close to freeway which is essential in Madeira. We were very impressed with everything. Highly recommend.

Toller Urlaub und herrlicher Blick ĂŒber den Atlantik

Wir waren das erste Mal auf Madeira und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus hat alle unsere Erwartungen erfĂŒllt und von den beiden Terrassen hat man jeweils einen herrlichen Blick auf den Atlantik. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat tadellos funktioniert und wir sind dankbar fĂŒr manch guten Tipp, den wir von Acacio bekommen haben. Da das Ferienhaus auf ca 350 Meter Höhe in steilem GelĂ€nde liegt, ist ein Mietwagen unerlĂ€sslich. Fazit: Immer wieder gerne

Ein hervorragender Aufenthalt

Die Unterkunft besitzt alles, was man fĂŒr einen gelungenen Urlaub benötigt. Ein sehr großes Anwesen mit vielen komfortabel ausgestatteten Zimmern, eine tolle Terrasse und einen ausgezeichneten Blick. Außerdem war der Gastgeber sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Zudem wird der Außenbereich zur Sicherheit des Hauses videoĂŒberwacht, wobei man im BĂŒro wĂ€hrenddessen die Aufnahmen mitverfolgen kann. Es hat uns hier an nichts gefehlt.
