The access is via stairs from the car parking space, and under these is a space to wash and store walking boots and equipment. There is a café and a selection of restaurants within walking distance, 750m to 1Km away, and a further selection around 1.5Km distance. The nearest supermarket, by the large roundabout that provides access to the expressway and the motorway system 1.5 Km away, are a supermarket, café/bakery with cashpoint machine and a couple of restaurants. The Levada do Norte passes just above the Village. With the many country walks available in the area, this makes Prazeres a perfect area for walking in Madeira.

There is quite a good selection of restaurants in this surrounding area, all between 800 m and 1.5 Km from SeaView Apartment. The Levada do Norte passes just above the Village. With the many country walks available in the area, this makes Prazeres a perfect resort for walking in Madeira. The Medical Centre is in Prazeres, and the nearest chemist is in the sleepy village of Estreito da Calheta, only 5 minutes drive away (5.4 Km). A few minutes by car will take you to the resort town of Calheta, 8 Km from the Apartment. With its man-made golden beaches, it is popular with tourists and locals alike. There is a beautiful marina and a good choice of bars and restaurants, a handful of small shops, a good, branded supermarket, a bank and chemist. Below Prazeres and between 8 and 12 minutes by car (8 and 10 km) are the seaside surf resorts of Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar. 15 minutes by car east is Ribeira Brava, the largest town before Funchal, that offers a rocky beach and sea access facilities in addition to a large supermarket and more shops, cafés, and restaurants. Funchal is an easy 45-minute drive away, and to the airport takes around 55 minutes.

Cleaning Tha apartment is prepared for your arrival and cleaning and linen change is then provided every 7 days. All linen and towels are provided. For health reasons, line for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.
Booking Notes The advertised prices are based on a 2-person occupancy and a per person supplement applies should anyone join you for any length of time. To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of 100€ is required on arrival, payable in cash. The minimum stay is 03 nights. Final details for check-in and driving instructions will be sent once you have paid your balance. You will be met at the villa on arrival and shown around.
The payment of a Tourist Tax has been implemented for all arriving visitors on or after 01 October 2024 across all of Madeira and Porto Santo by the local Municipalities. This applies to all visitors to Madeira aged 13 or over, and costs 2€ per person per day up to a maximum of 14€ per person. If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:
Leaving the airport take the motorway (Via Rápida) West in the direction of Funchal and after this to Ribeira Brava. Travel for 34. Km.
When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 35 minutes) keep on the right hand lane and follow the signs to Ribeira Brava – Ponta do Sol. The slip road will lead you to a roundabout. Take the first exit to Ribeira Brava and drive towards the sea for 1,4Km. You will reach another roundabout. Take the 1st exit into the tunnel and you will now carry on for 3,9Km until you reach the roundabout of Ponta do Sol. At the end of the tunnel you will reach another roundabout; take the 2nd exit , signposted Ponta do Sol and drive through another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel. At the end of this tunnel you will come to the roundabout of Ponta do Sol; on the left you will find a petrol station and mini market. Take the 2nd exit into the next tunnel and drive for 2,8Km. At the end of the tunnel, at the roundabout, turn sharp right into the next tunnel (signposted Calheta). At the roundabout (1,6Km), take the first turn-off, signposted to Calheta, drive through the next tunnel for 1,8Km. Reaching the next roundabout, take the second exit following signs to Calheta and through another tunnel until you reach the Calheta roundabout (2,5Km). Go straight across (2nd exit) , signposted Prazeres (don’t turn left into Calheta) and enter a further tunnel, driving for 2,3Km.
When reaching the next roundabout, where you will find a BP Petrol Station, take the second turnoff indicated “Prazeres” and "Mercado Agricultores".
Take this wide road for 800 metres until you reach a right turn indicating “Prazeres” and “Mercado Agricultores” Turn right here and you will reach a T-junction 100 metres away indicated “Hotel”, “Mercado Agricultores” “Prazeres”. Turn right. Carry on for a short distance and turn first right, indicated “Hotel”, “Mercado Agricultores” Carry on for 1,2Km past the church on your left, the Medical Centre (Centro de Saúde) and then the “Mercado Agricultores” on the left. The road starts descending and you will find shortly on your right “Caminho da Esperança”. Turn right here. Seaview apartment is above the pink house on the right.

Schön gelegene Ferienwohnung mit Meerblick
Ruhig gelegene Ferienwohnung. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Adresse auf Google maps falsch eingezeichnet. Wurden aber per WhatsApp Video Time gut zum Objekt geleitet. Gute Tipps zu Restaurants. Idealer Ausgangspunkt um die Insel zu erkunden.

Really liked the flat, the view and the location. Very quiet yet in walking distance to the village, 10 min, though the walk is uphill!Loved the provisions the owner provided at check-in: she really thought of everything: bread, milk, butter, wine, fresh fruit, coffee. Thanks for that!The only reason why we give the flat only 4 stars is the humidity. The flat, esp. the windows and the bathroom attract a lot of condensation and e.g. it's difficult to dry your laundry since there is no drier. But that might only be a problem in the cold months, I can't imagine it to persist into summer.Anyway, as I said, we really enjoyed our stay and definitely would come back!

Everything fine
We enjoyed this wonderful flat and the perfect equipment in the kitchen. The Bed was really good and the bathroom modern. In the mailroom and the sleeping room u have an aircondition now.
