Casa Luz - the name says it all - captures the sunlight from early in the morning to the breathtaking sunsets. The fantastic 180 ° south panorama lets your gaze wander over the gentle, hilly landscape of Prazeres and the majestic ocean. The property is close to nature above the villages of Prazeres and Maloeira and is nestled in absolute tranquility at the foot of a unique forest landscape. You reach it at the end of a very quiet and rarely used little street.
The only sounds are the rustling of the leaves, the birds singing, the breeze and two or three times a week when the baker or the fruit&vegetable cart brings fresh products. The modern, light-flooded villa impresses with its spacious living areas and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass windows to enjoy the wonderful view.
The quiet, rural area of Prazeres with its original villages, family-run restaurants, cafes and poncha bars is what many call a little paradise. The first levada that connects Prazeres with Raposeira begins just 250 m from the house. In 900 m there is a mini market (there you can find everything for daily needs) and a café bar. Gas station, supermarket and other shops are only approx. 2km away, the dream locations Paul do Mar, Jardim do Mar, Ponta do Pargo or Praia da Calheta can be reached in a few minutes by car. The Sunday farmer's market and a detour to the XS-Café are an absolute must for connoisseurs.
Casa Luz was only built in 2019 taking the latest energy efficiency into account. The living area and outdoor area with an inviting large pool deck, terrace and sunbathing area can be reached via the private car park or via the wheelchair-accessible ramp. Life takes place fluidly inside and outside on one level. The covered outdoor terrace invites you to linger, pamper and enjoy just like the large living and dining area inside. The kitchen is fully equipped. Sunsets and the starry sky can also be watched comfortably by the fireplace. The rooms offer both meeting and retreat opportunities for families, friends and couples.
Casa Luz offers its guests 3 comfortable, tastefully furnished bedrooms. A king-size bedroom with in-suite bathroom, a queen-size bedroom with in-suite bathroom and a third bedroom with a queen-size bed and the option of adding another bed. A separate bathroom is available to guests and visitors, and there is also a utility room with a washing machine.
Around the house, Casa Luz invites you to relax and enjoy. The huge pool deck connects the heatable ( for an added cost, please inform us) ( infinity pool (with outdoor shower), garden areas and the typical, traditional outdoor grill.
