This bright one bedroom plus den is a short walk from the restaurants and shops along 17th Ave. The bedroom has a king bed and the den holds a double bunk over a full workstation, so the suite comfortably sleeps four. Floor to ceiling windows bring in skyline views and all day light. Air conditioning, in suite laundry, high speed WiFi, a stocked kitchen and one underground parking stall are included. Well suited to longer stays, relocations and work trips.

This one bedroom, one den, one bathroom suite sits in one of the more distinctive newer buildings in the Beltline. Polished concrete floors, exposed ductwork and floor to ceiling windows give it a real loft feel, and the light through those windows is the first thing most guests comment on.

The living area has a full sofa, a lounge chair and a smart TV, with the dining table set right against the windows so you get the skyline while you eat. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size fridge, gas range, dishwasher, microwave and everything you need to actually cook, not just reheat.

The bedroom fits a king bed with fresh linens and blackout coverage, and connects through to the bathroom. The den is set up as a proper dual purpose room with a double bunk mounted above a full length desk and shelving, so one extra guest can sleep there without giving up a work surface. It is a genuinely good setup for anyone splitting a stay between work and travel.

Air conditioning is in the suite, which matters more in a Calgary summer than people expect, and there is in suite laundry so you are not planning your week around a laundromat.

The neighbourhood

You are in the Beltline, one block off 17 Ave SW. That puts dozens of restaurants, coffee shops, bars and boutiques within a five to ten minute walk. Downtown and the core office towers are a fifteen minute walk or a short drive, and the Stampede grounds, Kensington and Mission are all close. Groceries, gyms and pharmacies are all within a few blocks, so you can settle in without a car even though you have a parking stall waiting for you.

Guests have private access to the entire suite and the underground parking stall.

2. No smoking allowed. Any reminence or smell left behind will result in a $500 fine charged to your Airbnb account.
3. No pets allowed.
4. No unregistered guests allowed.
5. Suitable for toddlers and children under 12.
6. Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.
7. Please respect noise levels and noise curfew. 10PM on weekends and 9PM on weekdays.
8. Please respect Check-in & Check-out times.
9. Please take care of your keys. Lost Keys incur a replacement cost.
10. Please take care of the furnishings. You must pay for any damages caused.
11. Please do not rearrange the furniture.

13. Please take the trash out before you leave.
14. No illegal substances allowed on the premises. You will be asked to leave with no refund.
15. Please DO NOT take towels home after your stay. Any missing towels will be charged to your account

17. Under NO circumstances are you allowed to use the internet connection to download illegal copyright files. If we are notified by the internet provider, it is an automatic $1,000 fine applied to your Airbnb account.`
