« John o groats is a small area with most things closing around 6 pm. The hotel is very nice and the room and a full kitchen that means we didn’t have to rely on facilities being open. Beautiful room with great view of the North Sea. »

« Excellent cottage. Well furnished and equipped. Remote yet a good base for exploring the area. Car recommend. Only issue was with the communication. Booked through hotels.com and awaited instructions for check-in which didn't come. Tried to contact host using messaging service provided but got no response. Tried calling hotels.com for help who couldn't resolve the issue. Ended up at cottage late at night with no way inside. Turns out the details were sent from Sykes cottages...so if booking...

« We had a great 3 weeks … stunning views and a great cottage … wished we could’ve stayed longer… a very well equipped kitchen with an abundance of crockery to use … the fires were amazing on a cold evening… and the sky TV was a great addition too …The only negative comment was the lack of storage in the bathrooms … maybe a couple of shelves on the walls to store toiletries would benefit the cottage »
