« According to my son and his mate who had travelled from Oxfordshire for a football match the accommodation was everything that was described. The host was super friendly and even took the boys into Grimsby the next morning after my son had lost his car keys at the match 😩 »

« Breakfast excellent. Lovely property and surroundings..Peaceful location with good parking including electric chargers. Friendly staff. We had an executive room in the old stable block. Very comfortable. Strong shower and water very hot. A couple of minor points that would be easy to remedy: a shelf or basket to put shampoo in rather than on the edge or the bath and a towel hook within easy reach of the shower. »

The check-in was fast and smooth with nice staff, the room was comfortable with easy adjustment of the temperature, the kettle & instant coffee were most welcome, the bathroom amenities were great, the shower was well designed with suitable water pressure. « no signs for reception, doors were locked and there was no number or bell to ring, no wifi, no rubbish bin in room, curtains too small for the window, no toiletries, car park poorly lit, it looks like the hotel is under some sort of renovation, raining last night and the gutter was leaking »

« Booked at short notice online as was in the area for work great valine for money. Was seen soon as I walked in and being a pub the lovely lady told me straight away there was live music and it might be a bit noisy. Which I didn’t mind as I was going to work.
