The space
Casa Cielo is located directly on the spectacular beach of Punta Uva. Featuring 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, massage hut, patio, and includes many modern amenities, including 25 mbps fiber optic internet and a fully air-conditioned home.

Surrounded by lush natural gardens full of exotic plants and wildlife, Casa Cielo is one of only a handful of houses directly on Punta Uva beach, the most swimmable beach in the Puerto Viejo area. The house sits 50 meters from the water line which is the closest Costa Rican homes can legally be to the ocean.

The kitchen includes:
- Refrigerator/freezer
- Gas stove
- Appliances (coffee maker, blender, rice cooker, kettle, toaster)
- Dish-ware and utensils

Other Amenities include:

- Massage Service in the onsite massage hut

- Hot water (not standard in Caribbean homes) is available in the shower, and the sink

- Drinking water and a natural water filter are provided to guests.

- Linens, house towels and beach towels are included.

- Security is a priority for us. Cameras monitor the outside areas of the property, and you will find a small safe for personal belongings.

- A light cleaning and laundry service (1x load per week) is included for stays of 6 nights or more. Additional cleaning and laundry can be arranged for a fee. For guests staying less than 6 days, laundry service (washed, dried and not folded) can be provided at $20 per load (1 load = 5kg) and must be arranged with the host.

A few important notes:

1) Casa Cielo is surrounded by jungle plants and wildlife. While we make a concerted effort to keep the house clean, comfortable, and safe,. we are located in the jungle and not absent from bugs or other critters.

2) Regarding privacy: this accomodation is on the same property as two other rental homes, Casa de la Musa and Casa Aura. From time to time you may see the property owner or other guests during your stay. If you would like interaction, information, or just need to borrow misc items, it's just a few steps away for your convenience. Otherwise, expect every effort to be made for complete privacy.

Other things to note
Drinking water and a water dispenser are provided. Linens, house towels and beach towels are included. Security is a priority for us. There is a video surveillance system which monitors the outside areas of the house, an alarm system and a safe box large enough to store a laptop and other important personal belongings.
