Summary:
Casita Las Brisas in Flamingo is a brand-new studio apartment in a separate structure that’s been added to the luxurious, ocean-view Casa Las Brisas villa. It can be rented on its own or can be added to the rest of the villa to accommodate as many as 14 guests. The second-story, 600-square-foot guesthouse contains a king bed and a queen sofa bed, sleeping up to four.

The Space:
It has a full kitchen with granite countertops, high-end finishes and stainless steel appliances. The air-conditioned unit has one spacious bathroom. It has 12-foot beamed ceilings and a wall of windows that offers a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean.

As the name suggests, this “casita” is more like a “little house” than a studio apartment — it’s big and roomy, and it has the same fabulous ocean views overlooking Playa Flamingo as the villa.

Located on Flamingo’s prestigious North Ridge, Las Brisas is a short distance from the picturesque downtown of this popular beachfront destination. The town has two beaches, Playa Potrero on one side of the North Ridge and Playa Flamingo on the other.

A world-class marina is currently being built at the base of the North Ridge, reflecting this town’s longtime popularity as a launching spot for fishing trips, dive boats and sunset cruises. Nearby adventures by land include ziplining, horseback riding, ATV rentals, hiking and wildlife rescue centers.

The Neighborhood:
Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo.
Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences.
A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where there’s an excellent private school called La Paz.
Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marie’s, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelina’s, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill.
Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, you’ll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store.
Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta.

Getting Around:
Our agents will be happy to assist you with renting a car, giving you the freedom to explore the area where you want, when you want. For short drives to nearby towns or beaches, golf carts are another popular mode of transportation. You can also rent a bicycle to ride around in town or beyond.

We can arrange transfers to and from the airport. Rental cars can also be delivered to your property at no additional cost, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery as our private van drives you here from the airport.

Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour. Our information brochure will provide you with useful information on local transportation options and points of interest, as well as contact information for taxis and shuttles.
