Welcome to Watauga Lake Hideaway, a cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom lakefront condo nestled in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Butler, Tennessee. Whether you're planning a romantic weekend, an outdoor adventure, or simply a peaceful escape from everyday life, you'll find the perfect balance of comfort, nature, and relaxation.

Spend your mornings sipping coffee while overlooking the lake, your afternoons exploring the surrounding mountains or enjoying the water, and your evenings unwinding by the fire pit beneath the stars.

Your lakeside retreat is thoughtfully stocked with the essentials and comfortably accommodates two guests.

Kitchen & Coffee Bar
Your fully equipped kitchen includes cookware, dishes, utensils, glasses, and everyday essentials for preparing meals.
Our coffee bar includes regular and decaf coffee, creamer, sugar, and sugar-free sweetener. You'll also find a few cooking basics, including olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Please note: The refrigerator does not have an automatic ice maker. Ice trays are provided, but we recommend purchasing extra ice if needed.

Bedroom & Bathroom
Your cozy bedroom features a queen-size bed, comfortable bedding, blackout curtains, bedside charging outlets with USB connections, and a Smart TV.
Extra blankets and throws are provided for your comfort, along with a lighted makeup mirror with 10× magnification.
The bathroom is stocked with towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and other thoughtful essentials.

Shared Deck & Gas Grill
The lakefront deck extends along the building and is shared by guests staying in the condos. Each unit has its own designated outdoor seating area with a table and two chairs. A gas grill is available on the shared deck, and grilling utensils are provided in your condo.
Please clean the grill after use and respect the outdoor seating areas assigned to other units.

Private Guest Dock & Kayaks

The peaceful cove is perfect for swimming, fishing, floating, or simply enjoying the scenery. The cove opens into the lake's main channel.
Three kayaks are available for guests to share.

Enjoy skiing, hiking scenic mountain trails, discovering waterfalls, fishing, boating, visiting local wineries, exploring charming mountain towns, taking a scenic drive along Watauga Lake or the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Nearby attractions, all within an hour drive include Beech Mountain, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Roan Mountain State Park, Laurel Fork Falls, historic Elizabethton, Boone, North Carolina, Hard Rock Casino Bristol, and Bristol Motor Speedway.

Our property is tucked away in a quiet, rural lakeside setting, offering a welcome escape from busy everyday life. We recommend filling your gas tank and picking up groceries and essentials before arriving at Watauga Lake Hideaway. We are located in the Cherokee National Forest.
Cell service can be spotty on mountain roads, so please download your arrival message and directions before traveling. Follow the directions we provide, as map apps may route you incorrectly.

The nearest fully stocked grocery store is about 40 minutes away.
The nearest gas station is about 20 minutes away. Dollar General is approximately 9 minutes away, and a convenience store is about 9 minutes in the opposite direction; both offer limited supplies.
During winter, we strongly recommend a 4WD vehicle.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available, and convenient parking is provided in front of the building.

Pets are welcome with prior approval and an additional pet fee.

Mountain Lake Terrain: Watauga Lake Hideaway is located on a naturally sloped mountain-lake property. Accessing the dock and some outdoor areas requires walking on sloped and uneven terrain. Please consider this when booking if you or someone in your party has mobility concerns.
