Orchard Homestead—A True Rural Wellness Escape

The Space:

Framed by native gardens and open farmland, this homestead offers a relaxed, earthy ambience with timber finishes, pitched ceilings and soft natural light throughout. It’s a place to slow down, with spaces that flow easily between indoors and out.



The living area centres around comfortable seating and a fireplace-style warmth, creating an inviting spot for quiet evenings or time together after a day exploring. Large windows draw in greenery from every angle, reinforcing the connection to the surrounding landscape.



The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking, with gas cooking, a pod coffee machine and ample bench space to prepare and share meals. Nearby, the dining area provides a welcoming setting for long lunches or dinner with friends, while additional outdoor dining areas extend the experience into the fresh air.



Step outside to multiple alfresco zones, including a verandah perfect for morning coffee and a BBQ and pizza oven for relaxed entertaining. Shared with the neighbouring cottage, the outdoor wellness area offers a beautifully crafted sauna, freestanding bath, and copper shower surrounded by nature, creating an inviting setting for soothing soaks, warming sauna sessions, and peaceful moments outdoors.



Bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged for comfort and flexibility, with three queen bedrooms and a fourth bedroom with two king-single beds. Bathrooms are well-appointed, including one with a soaking tub for a more indulgent wind-down. Laundry facilities add practicality for longer stays.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive access to the house and its surrounding farmland, including the outdoor dining areas, and pizza oven. The driveway and wellness area are shared with Orchard Cottage, another rental property on-site. While privacy is maintained, guests may encounter others during their stay.



The Neighborhood:

Located in the South West, this property places you within easy reach of Dunsborough’s vibrant coastal village, just a ten-minute drive away. Here you’ll find a mix of cafés, restaurants and boutique shops, along with calm swimming beaches ideal for relaxed days by the water. A short drive brings you to well-known surf spots like Smiths Beach and Yallingup, as well as scenic coastal trails and lookouts. The region is also renowned for its wineries, including Aravina Estate, Wild Hop and Clairault, all within easy driving distance for tastings and long lunches. For outdoor enthusiasts, nearby reserves offer walking tracks, bike paths and nature experiences, while Dunsborough Lakes Golf Course provides a casual round close to town.

Noise & Quiet Hours

Please keep noise to a minimum after 10:00pm in line with local regulations.

We kindly ask all guests to respect the property and surrounding neighbours during their stay.



Firewood

A small supply of firewood is provided for the indoor fireplace during the winter months (June–August). Additional firewood can be purchased from local fuel stations and hardware stores.



Leavers

We are currently not hosting Leavers bookings.



Pet Policy

This property is not pet-friendly, and pets are not permitted on the premises at any time. Any unauthorised pets may result in additional cleaning fees and/or breach of booking terms.



Rental Agreement

As part of our standard process, all guests are required to complete a rental agreement prior to arrival. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Orchard Homestead operates on tank water, so we kindly ask guests to use water mindfully.

This property is located in a rural area, so WiFi and TV can sometimes be patchy or intermittent.



Please note that the Homestead is a separate dwelling located adjacent to Orchard Cottage (available to be booked separately).
