« the food for breakfast that you offered tasted like cardboard the oatmeal was runny not oatmeal the orange juice was not orange juice eggs and meat on both days were not eggs or meat they all looked like food but the food was not the real deal other than the breakfast food and it was NOT the preparers it was the food ... the staff and the room were execellent it was the food that was disapointing coffee was good also if i am paying 800 for 2 nights i expect real food »

« There was no remote for the TV and we asked several times for help getting one. There is no onsite help. There was absolutely no parking available even though it was stated " plenty of free parking on 39th street" this is just absolutely not true. The local people laughed when asked about street parking being available. The check out process was unclear as I couldn't get the key box to open back to depsosit the key back. « There was no working tv and no one on the premises to help. There was construction out side the building and they started running a jackhammer at 5 am. Drunk football fans keep us up till 3 am partying. »

« If you are looking for accommodations to attend a sporting or cultural event in Pittsburgh, this conveniently located apartment is for you! While the furniture may not be from Ethan Allen, it was functional and the bed was comfortable (although one of the front shades needs to be repaired (it doesn’t release and can’t be pulled down and the handle on the shower faucet needs to be tightened). I will look into this rental for future needs! »

« The train is way too close to the hotel. We felt it was in our room. Our room was next to the elevator on the 3rd floor, so it was very noisy. With a six nights stay a view on the river and further from elevators and train would have been appreciated. Good breakfast every morning with many options. Thanks »

I had to write and request the password The bathroom sink was not secure and I was afraid it was going to fall. There were no hooks or towel bars in the bathroom. The water reservoir for the coffee maker was full of green slim making the coffee pot unusable. The bed squeaked every time you touched it or moved. So I woke up every time I rolled over at night and therefore slept very...

« Late arroval with 2 huge luggage's and the person at the desk give us a room at the 3rd level... without elevator !!! We reclam to use one who go only at the second floor! Then the A/C in the room 1304 make a noise! It looks like sleeping near a plane! horrible! And the windows are not double glazing so with the road in front it was a disaster! We were so enthousiastic by seeing the pictures and at the end so deeply disappointed. »

« This is the second time I have stayed at the Oaklander. The first time there were stains all over my sheets. They were changed. This time the pillows were wrinkled and did not smell fresh. I had to request new pillow cases. It’s a beautiful hotel but when they tell you they are inspecting your room before you go in beware, you better inspect it yourself. Housekeeping was very courteous when they changed the pillow cases. One bright point. Very disappointing for such a beautiful hotel. »

« I will not return to this establishment again. My room didn"t match the photo and the shower bursting on us in middle night and us having to switch rooms at midnight was very frustrating and to see that i wasnt comp. For the inconvience is insanity on their end i never go there again. »
