« We really enjoyed our stay here. The pool was awesome and the WiFi worked well. We were given the wrong code to get in but luckily was able to connect to Wi-Fi and get the correct code after about 20 minutes. Very clean property and appreciated all the things like dishwasher soap and laundry soap. »

« Jim is good host. He shared his knowledge of area which was helpful. Our casita was private although location is near their home and one other listing. He was prompt in responding to issues with refrigerator. Road to casita was better than most mountan roads we've experienced in Costa Rica. »

« The property was beautiful. We were not prepared for how difficult it was to get to the property. I think the listing should explain it is a very difficult car ride it is. That made our travel and events much more limited. We also had a significant issue with the water supply, we had a whole day (the one day we all took a day of rest at the house) without water supply and it took all day to get it serviced. « We loved this property! Beautiful view and house; Sonya was incredibly helpful and there was everything you could imagine to make our stay enjoyable. The drive up from town is not easy and there were power and water outages during a storm but as we understand thats common in the jungle. We would definitely go back! »

« My family ( myself,my wife and 4 boys ranging in age from15-23) absolutely loved this home. It was perfect in every way. Ralph the owner, was so helpful , kind and gracious. « We had a little taste of Paradise while living at Villa Cascada. If you love nature, it is the place to stay. We woke up almost every morning to the sounds of the howler monkeys, we even saw them in a nearby tree. You are surrounded by the jungle and all its sounds and aromas. We saw lots of toucans, butterflies, birds, bats, coatis. The views are amazing. The road to the villa was scary the first time, but David waited for us on the main road and led us to the villa. « Stay was great and villa was clean, inviting and well situated. Beautiful sunset views. Only issue to raise was with the gated security access which hopefully can be resolved for future guests by the estate management team… Despite this issue I would go back and recommend this villa without hesitation. »

« Our overall impression: cute property, older but well kept. A few things were worth noting. 1. The road noise can be bothersome at night considering there is no air conditioner so there is no way to shut out traffic noise. 2. very hard mattresses and pillows. « This is a very nice property with a beautiful pool and views. However, the description of three master suites is a bit misleading. There is one master and two other bedrooms that have ensuite bathrooms but they areconsiderably smaller and darker. The biggest concern is some maintenance issues with the property, particularly the master suite bathroom that has one sliding window panel missing and though there are decorative grills on the windows this does present a security risk. « The property was beautiful with incredible scenery from the rear of the property. We were surrounded by jungle which is what we wanted. While looking out at the pool on the rear patio we could see the Gulf of Mexico in the background encapsulated by palm trees and fruit trees which is the best of both worlds. Plenty of birds to watch as well as a white nosed coatimundi that did his morning climb up the tallest of the trees. We also got to see a family of howler monkeys high in the trees....
