« My husband and I stayed for three nights at Longacre. The owner is very kind. The house is spacious, but I did find it to be a little dated. We stayed in the manor room which was very big but seems like it was decorated from the early 90s. Also, there was no option to lower the temperature in the room, so I had to use a fan from the closet to try to cool the room down. The grounds behind the house are beautiful and peaceful. »

« Bel hôtel, belle chambre lit confortable,, petit frigo pratique. Endroit très calme à 5 min en voiture de la belle Historic Main street. 10 min à aller a la High Bridge Trail mais 20 min au retour en vélo car il y a une très grosse côte à monter!! On est au centre de la Trail on a fait la moitié aller/retour une journée et l’autre moitié le lendemain. »

« We spend two wonderful days. The room was clean, really nice and unique. All the available rooms are open so you can enjoy and see all the different decoration. Bed was super confortable, local and very nice toiletries available in the room and hostess so welcoming and available. Then you go to breakfast in the morning and you definitely say that you will be back! It was gorgeous, made with fresh products and so well prepared. « This lovely one bedroom cabin is located just far enough to feel secluded, but within 20 minutes of a grocery store and restaurants. It is equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. The hosts have excellent communication and strive to make sure their guests are comfortable, well informed, and get the privacy they desire. These 2 houses were located less than 10 minutes from each other, and both houses were about 1/2 hour from the seminary in Dillwyn, which was our intended destination each day. « Loved our time here! It was a clean and beautiful house! The communication with the owner was great. The mountain roads to the house were a little scary. The freezer had 3-4 old fashioned ice trays which were inconvenient if you needed more ice. The refrigerator temperature was so cold that our milk and our pitcher of water was turning into ice. There was some food stuck on the coffee table out at the hot tub area. The hot faucet in one of the bedroom bathrooms needs to be tightened. Everything...
