« We visit the Smoky Mountain National Park often and this was our first time staying on the North Carolina side of the park. Our family really enjoyed the cabin as it was close to Bryson City for groceries and food but still felt secluded. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We were a little uncertain of our kids sleeping on the other side of the porch/breezeway but it worked fine and they enjoyed it. We were also close to Cherokee where we did plenty of shopping too. « This cabin was amazing, like a 1830s time capsule with modern conveniences. We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin is very clean, spacious, and the decor amazing. We normally don’t geek out about interior design, but found ourselves marveling at the many pictures and artifacts. They were very interesting. »

« Beautiful views and cottage. Cottage is as described online. We had a wonderful time even with the across the street very loud neighbors. Beware: The road past the gate and driveway to cottage are in bad shape. If you do not drive an AWD/FWD SUV vehicle you may get stuck if raining or snow. »

« Very good except for 2 things. Water pressure/flow was really low at times. Hard to take a shower. No phone service or Wi-Fi. ( maybe that’s a good thing). Had sat tv but took me a while to figure Direct TV operation out. There was a land line phone in cabin. Bed was nice and comfy. Kitchen was nice and well stocked. »

« Nice place, well stocked with spices and cooking equipment. Really nice screened in porch and outdoor fire pit so you can enjoy the outdoors rain or shine. Had items for babies…we are empty nesters with grown kids but thought that was very thoughtful of the guest to have that available. Cell service is very limited but that is typical in the NC mountains. Can get text messages and some internet just beyond the fire pit area so in a pinch there is that. « Quaint home on beautiful property. Everything was clean and lots of thoughtful gestures (shower gel/shampoo in shower, free chocolate and coffee as welcome gift, welcome text from owner). It’s obvious the owners put a lot of care into keeping their property nice and comfortable for guests. Only complaint was bed was not as comfortable as what we’re used to at home, but that’s usually the case anywhere we go. »
