« We booked the best suite in the hotel—a lake-view room. Between the bedroom and the bathroom, the ceiling tiles were damaged. The AC was extremely loud, like a helicopter landing each time it started. The bedsheets and pillows smelled moldy. Thankfully it was just one night, but I won’t stay in Lakeland again. « The room itself smelled like stale smoke, HOWEVER, the view was amazing! We were assigned a room on the lake and it was so lovely. The lake was full of more birds than I had ever seen (egrets, ibises, heron, ducks). The front desk professional was nice and helpful. The room was large. For a cheap hotel, we got our money's worth. If not for the lake and birds, I would have probably thought that it was a kinda crappy hotel but cheap for the price. The stunning scenery made it 5 stars...

« Don’t look underground the beds ... never saw so much dirt there... As for the breakfast: only a very few tables, people have no other choice than stand up and eat. We came at 8:30, almost nothing to eat except a couple of yoghourts and dôme cereals. Really not worth the price ... »

« This is the cleanest hotel I have seen in a very long time. The water pressure in the shower is great. The bed was comfortable. We were woken up at 4am by the kids in the room next to us. The walls are pretty thin. The pool was enjoyable. We actually canceled our stay at a different hotel and extended our stay here. The location is convenient to highways and walkable to Applebee’s, Wendy’s, and Starbucks. »

« It was great for the one night I was there. Right next to a big mall with lots of restaurants and a movie theater. Room was great and the helpful front desk staff were very friendly. I didn’t love the smell of the room. Not smoky, just didn’t like the smell of the cleanser. It was too strong. Other than that it was a perfect day. »
