« We ended up not staying the night. There was no on site staff. The room was cold, you couldn’t adjust the temperature. The bathroom door didn’t close. The water was ice cold, even after running for 10 or so minutes, as the contact person told us to do. We booked the room with the hot tub, which wasn’t usable, so they put us in a room with a jacuzzi tub, not the same thing. Lastly there was a fitted sheet on the bed, but no top sheet under the comforter, which didn’t feel like luxury bedding as...

« Check in was easy. Friendly staff. Cute place. Looks like an older home with common areas that you're welcome to use. I booked the twin bed room and it was clean and comfortable. Exactly what I needed for a 1 night stay. Pictures of rooms and the grounds were accurate. The only thing that I wish was different was the rug in the room. I wouldve preferred tile or wood. However I would still stay here again if Im ever in the area. Also close to town, shops, restaurants. »

« What I do like: Easy check-in, stuff is friendly, the place is clean and well-maintained. What I don’t like: Very bad soundproofing in the room, loud squeaks from the room above you when a person just walks there. Pretty damn restriction my 14-year-old boy faced when he was trying to take a breakfast alone: he can’t have a breakfast without a guardian until he is 18! Seriously? He can’t do it in McDonald or anywhere else, but not here. »

« Great environment, and Hiram is a very friendly host. Our family of 4 has stayed at the "bridge cottage" (unit "109" out of 8 (?)) for 2 nights, in a very relaxing place (forest/pond/pool). We were looking for a place to rest between big cities' craziness and the cottage was a perfect fit. Wifi was terrible though, barely functional. As long as you don't mind an overall rustic/shabby feel, you'll probably have as good a time here as we did. Worth noting, Hiram answered all our questions really...
