« This is an excellent property for your stay in Morehead City. The owner has everything you could possibly need or want stocked at the property. The pictures in the owner's listing are accurate. Everything shown is really there, plus more. The kitchen is fully stocked as is the garage. From towels to trash bags the owner assures you have more supplies than you could need. Having the washer and dryer is a plus for any beach trip. Property is well maintained and beautifully decorated....

« We loved the quiet getaway in this beautifully decorated home! We had easy access to Harkers/Cape Lookout, Beaufort, Morehouse City and Atlantic Beach and loved coming back each evening. Lovely view of water and sunrise! Owner was super responsive and helpful! »

« Michelle is wonderful to work with. Very responsive. i usually stay ON the beach but I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get onto the beach on the boardwalk/sidewalk. The pool was amazing. 6 inch area is great for our 1 and 3 year old (wish there was a way to stop the one year old from walking into the deep area so we could relax more but still fun) Kids toys and books were perfect. Had everything we needed. And again, Michelle was outstanding. »

« Our stay was very enjoyable. The property was as it was listed and we loved that instructions on how to care for the home were posted and very clear. The home is very nice, clean, and well maintained. We were close to the beach and stores that we frequent. Overall, we had a great vacation experience and hope to return on future visits to this home. »

« Their A/C is amazing. Beds are comfy! Convenient to coffee and shops. We did move the lamps into the living area bc the ceiling lights are bright and we wanted some cozy vibes. But we needed the lights to clean up after ourselves so all in all - perfect! Really amazed at how well stocked it was and how well arranged the bathrooms and bedrooms were for the size. »

« Perfect for a weekend away with friends. Our favorite part was the upstairs living area. Comfortable/cozy seating area for conversation and/or card games. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Communication with host is top notch. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area. »

« This was our second stay at Sound Escape. And it will not be our last! Laurie is an excellent host and easily accessible if needed. The house is very clean and comfortable and the view from the decks and porches is stunning! We traveled with another couple and the guys took the ferry over to the Core Banks two days to fish. They also caught a couple fish from the pier on the property. Shopping at Beaufort is 20 minutes away, but the neatest gift shop we found is just down the street at Davis...

« The home is very cozy, with an open floor plan. It has all of the amenities necessary for a pleasant visit, for a few days to a few weeks. The host was friendly and helpful. Our dog loved the place too. The fenced back yard and back deck, at once became our favorite spot to relax. We loved our stay, and would gladly return on our next visit. »

« We loved our stay in Pine Knolls Shores! The house looked exactly as listed and was extremely clean and inviting. We had seven children with us ranging from toddler to teenage. There was ample space for everyone and we took advantage of the large yard and fire pit. Having private beach access was the cherry on top. You book this home with no worries! »

« We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The proximity to the beach and pool were perfect for our family. It was also very clean and comfortable. The house was well stocked and everything was in working order. The host was fast to respond and very helpful. We would love to book this property for future trips. »

Bask Hotel at Big Rock Landing

10/10 Excellent

"Nous avons passé une nuit en juillet 2025 au Bask Hotel à Morehead City en famille (2 adultes et 2 ados), et nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour ! Notre chambre double avec deux lits queen était immense, très propre et parfaitement équipée, avec TV, Wi-Fi, machine à café, frigo et un coin cuisine bien pratique. Idéale pour une famille ! Le personnel a été très accueillant et sympathique. Côté services : parking payant, machine à glace, pas de piscine, mais un petit déjeuner inclus, simple mais suffisant pour bien démarrer la journée. En résumé : un hôtel confortable, calme et très bien tenu, parfait pour une halte dans la région entre Wilmington et les Outer Banks. On recommande sans hésiter !"
