Home came equipped with all the necessities for river activities, we enjoyed the short tour to the river itself and neighboring channels. Walking distance to the upper deck was also great if you didnt want to kayak or paddle up. « This property is private, serene, and offers convenient access to surrounding fishing. Our 14’ jon boat was a bit too big for the on property launch, but navigated the canals with ease. We launched at the nearby public boat ramp and moored to the dock at the property during our stay. The home was very comfortable and I particularly appreciated the well equipped kitchen. I sent a message to the owner asking what the code was to get in the door and without saying a word to me they cancelled the reservation. We were staying there for 2 nights and we were forced to find other accommodations last minute which ended up being a huge pain because you can’t book same day through VRBO. « Although the weather was chilly for Florida. The afternoon sun warms the backyard and the dock was perfect for a couples outdoor dining. The fish were not biting but we counted 18 species of birds! Great getaway. The house is small but plenty of room to spread out and relax in the common area and the decor was spot on. Found a single serve coffee pot under the kitchen counter. Plenty of blankets and towels. The curtains were thin so adding blinds would be a good upgrade. Enjoyed our stay. »
