Cozy River Lodge is a riverfront retreat built for families and groups — three queen suites, a bunk loft, screened second deck, fire pit, ping pong, and game loft. Skip Hochatown weekend traffic via Hwy 3 — lake, restaurants, and Beavers Bend are 15–25 minutes away. Close for dinner, far enough to actually relax.

Bright and newly built cabin (2023) is located right on the Glover River, on the edge of Broken Bow. It's roughly a 2.5 hours drive from Frisco, Plano and McKinney with much less traffic than Hochatown during weekends. Most of the restaurants and stores are a short 15-20 minutes drive. The location is very peaceful with lots of nature sounds during the day and night.

You will have access to the entire house! There is a locked owner’s closet located downstairs in one of the bedrooms. Please do not try to access it during your stay unless provided with a code. Free parking and on site Tesla charger, with enough space to bring your boats, kayaks, or ATVs.

River access is public, so you’re welcome to walk along the bank. There’s a nice swim spot to the right, down by the last house on the street. Glover River levels can change daily depending on rainfall upstream — fun to watch, just be aware.

Most of our guests are families and small groups of 6–10, with extra room to spread out. The cabin sleeps up to 13 when you bring the whole crew, the in-laws, or a women’s retreat — there’s genuinely space for everyone, including the kids.

LOFT AREA AND 2ND FLOOR DECK:

Perfect for larger groups or families, our spacious sleeping loft is a cozy haven for kids and adults alike. It features two bunk beds, one trundle bed, and a sofa bed, comfortably accommodating up to 7 guests. The room includes a TV, foosball table, and a play area for board games, ensuring entertainment for everyone.

Loft guests also have convenient access to the second-floor terrace, which has a screen to give extra protection against unwanted flying guests, where you can enjoy a game of ping pong, or a yoga session, and lots of space for creativity to go wild. The half bath is conveniently located upstairs for the loft guests.

Kids and adults can have fun with our Nintendo Switch console, that can allow local play for up to 4 players on 1 TV with Mario kart Deluxe 8!

You can access the lower deck from the living room on the main floor. Lower deck includes 2 dining tables with 12 chairs, and a small sitting area for additional 4 guests. Additional amenities located on the lower deck include:

Down in the backyard, you will find a fire pit with comfortable and Adirondack chairs, where you can make fires and make smores, or just enjoy the peaceful time by the river. The playground will keep kids of all ages entertained day and night by providing access to monkey bars, swings, net to throw balls in, cargo net, ninja sticks, dips bar, pull up bar, and even a short zip line. In the evening, there are outside lights that provide plenty of light for kids to continue to use up their energy for a good night sleep.

This property is privately owned. A rental agreement is required for all guests as part of the booking process.

Located right off of State Highway 3, you will either need to make a right shortly after passing the Glover River if coming from the west, or make a left shortly after you pass 'North Pole Store' if coming from Hochatown.

➠ ACCESS:
The front door is equipped with an electronic smart lock keypad & a private entrance. A unique door code will be sent at least 48 hours prior to check-in.

➠ USE OF SECURITY CAMERAS:
Renters understand and accept that the property is protected with outside security cameras. These cameras are used to protect the property and our guests from potential break-ins and theft, We have 1 camera by the front door, 1 by the back door that are ON and recording 24/7. There are NO cameras inside the house.

➠ LIABILITY NOTICE:
This rental cabin is privately owned. A renter agreement is required for guests who book Cozy River Lodge.

➠ CRITTERS:
We have a regular pest control company that maintains the grounds. As we are located in a rural area, please note that bugs may be present on the property.

➠ NATIVE PLANTS AND ANIMALS:
We’re in a peaceful rural area surrounded by woods and water, which is part of the charm — and means an occasional ladybug, spider, or curious deer may pass through. The property is on a professional pest control schedule and we have an animal deterrent on the deck. We appreciate guests understanding that nature is part of the experience.
