Ceci est un chalet du 17Úme siÚcle magnifiquement rénové au coeur de Beaulieu (non loin de la riviÚre) qui est une base idéale pour se détendre et profiter de la vie New Forest. Situé sur une route calme, vous pouvez vous promener à Monty's Inn à proximité pour le dßner et visiter le café populaire en face pour le petit déjeuner. Vous pouvez voir des ùnes et des vaches marchant le long de la High Street!

Pour les aventuriers, des vĂ©los et des canoĂ«s peuvent ĂȘtre louĂ©s Ă  cĂŽtĂ© aux activitĂ©s New Forest.

Vous entrerez dans la propriĂ©tĂ© par la porte extĂ©rieure qui mĂšne Ă  une passerelle couverte en briques jusqu'Ă  la porte d'accĂšs sur votre gauche (un peu excentrique mais cela fait partie de la maison!). Une fois Ă  l'intĂ©rieur, vous ĂȘtes dans un petit couloir avec les escaliers au premier Ă©tage. Vous tournez Ă  droite et descendez deux marches dans la grande salle Ă  manger arriĂšre avec son plafond voĂ»tĂ© et qui a une vue sur le patio arriĂšre et le jardin. Cette piĂšce a beaucoup de lumiĂšre en raison des portes-fenĂȘtres de 4 mĂštres de large et elle a l'avantage d'ĂȘtre attachĂ©e Ă  la cuisine (vous montez deux marches pour y accĂ©der), c'est donc un grand espace ouvert et une grande table Ă  manger.

La cuisine a une cuisiniÚre, un micro-ondes intégré, un réfrigérateur, un congélateur, un lave-linge et un lave-vaisselle. Il y a aussi une machine Nespresso pour votre expresso ou latte du matin.

Directement Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la salle Ă  manger, il y a aussi la porte du grand salon (jusqu'Ă  deux autres marches) qui a deux canapĂ©s et un poĂȘle Ă  bois pour une nuit confortable. Il y a aussi la TV HD (profitez de Netflix gratuit pour regarder vos films prĂ©fĂ©rĂ©s) ou utilisez le lecteur DVD.

A l'étage, il y a deux chambres, une grande, une petite plus la salle de bain séparée (avec baignoire et douche). La grande chambre a un lit king size et deux lits simples. La plus petite chambre a un lit double.
Dehors, il y a un patio avec table et chaises pour profiter des longues nuits d'été. Ensuite, il y a le grand jardin clos à l'arriÚre avec des arbres fruitiers et un magasin de rondins.

Cottage was gorgeous and comfortable. The host, Matthew, couldn't have been more helpful, providing us with details of recommended eateries and the best place to see the bluebells, as well as more practical info about nearby supermarkets.

Idyllic

The cottage was much bigger than expected, extremely clean yet still very cosy The open planned layout of the kitchen and the dining room overlooking the garden is a fabulous social space. And the sitting room with the log burner is very comfortable and spacious. It's a very lovely cottage in an ideal location ... really quiet at night. We could not have wished for more

Charming Cottage in a Charming Village

Wow! From the moment we walked in we were in LOVE with this place. It was first class all the way with all the goodies Matthew welcomed us with. And it was 100 percent cozy and beautiful with its wood-burning stove, beautiful garden, decor and 17th C history. Beaulieu is a beautiful little village too. Love its horses and donkeys!

Great host and cottage

We stayed here for two nights, Matthew was really accommodating providing a bottle of cava, cake and some milk. Super clear instructions and great communication on places of interest nearby. The cottage is very homely and we had a great time.

An amazing stay in Beaulieu!

We have just arrived back from a great weeks stay in Beaulieu. The cottage was lovely, spacious, and had everything we needed. It was also in a superb location, so we barely used our car. Everything was within cycling distance! The garden was fab too and we sat outside to eat most evenings. The high street is great and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The donkeys, cows and horses were happily popping by regularly, which we all loved to see. There are two 22kw EV charging points at Beaulieu car park (free to park after 6pm). We used this to charge and it was literally a minutes walk from the cottage. Perfect! We can definitely recommend Beaulieu Motor museum, Exbury Gardens, Bucklers Hard, Furzey Gardens (which support people with all disabilities), Steffs Kitchen and their community allotment across the road, and Sailability in Lymington. Sailability are a charity, and offer boating opportunities for the disabled. Our daughter uses a wheelchair and they had a boat where she could wheel straight on. It was ÂŁ10 each for me and my husband to join her, and she enjoyed a 90 minute boat trip. It was really fantastic! A super trip to New Forest, and we can't wait to return to Beaulieu very soon.

Ein Ort zum WohlfĂŒhlen

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Der Ort ist bezaubernd und wir haben uns in der gemĂŒtlichen Unterkunft sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Vor allem der schöne Esstisch mit Blick auf den herrlichen Garten lĂ€dt zum Verweilen ein. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet! Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter.

We had a lovely few days staying in this lovely quirky home with our adult children. Plenty of space inside for us all , and as the weather was kind to us so we spent our meal times and evenings enjoying the lovely garden too .

Beautiful old cottage

We had a lovely stay in Beaulieu, the cottage is so interesting and full of character. The garden was beautiful, and our dogs enjoyed lying out on the grass for hours. The village is sweet, good spots for breakfast and walking to Bucklers Hard was enjoyable.

Lovely House, just right for our visit

Old Bank House is very pretty and beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly need for a short stay, as well as being spotlessly clean. Lovely to have milk, cake and a bottle of bubbly on arrival and the house and garden were very easy to settle into and enjoy immediately. Beaulieu is very sweet even if solely geared-up for tourists with above London prices from the (average) cafe opposite and little in the way of basics available from the local shop. The Beaulieu Bakehouse, however, is outstanding. We enjoyed our stay so much and the charm of the house added a great deal to our wonderful minibreak. We would love to come back for a much longer stay in the near future. Thank you.

Delightful cottage

Beautiful old cottage set in the heart of the village. Stayed in cold January but was very cosy with a lovely log burner. Lovely garden that we didn’t use but can imagine it’s delight in the warmer months. Wouldn’t change a thing. Will definitely return!
