This is a self service apartment. Instructions will be provided to easily check in and check out without the need for assistance, however I am available to contact via the platform should you encounter a problem with the functioning of the apartment or its facilities. I will provide access details the day prior, with easy to follow instructions, and check in to make sure you are comfortable / have any questions.
My apartment is located in one of Brisbane city's most iconic buildings, Utopia, an ultra-modern community in Fortitude Valley. You will not find a location primed for a better choice of options.
Getting to the apartment couldn't be easier. 10 mins walk from Fortitude Valley Station or just 15min by car from the Airport. Surrounded by James Street, Brisbane's best nightlife, the Brisbane CBD, Chinatown, train station & endless cafes & restaurants. This is a foodies paradise and the perfect location to explore! You can walk to the best that Brisbane has to offer.
Where to go?
Number one on every visit to Brisbane is a trip to James Street and the infamous Calile Hotel which is a short five minute walk. You will instantly be immersed in the vibe of an instagram worthy and sensational offering of spectacular restaurants, cafes, shops showcasing Australian fashion labels, and bars. The apartment itself sits on the edge of the Valley, which is a hive of activity - destination for the most lively nightlife scene in Australia. Live music thrives and international DJs are drawn to the clubs and chic bars. By night, a rock scene comes alive and the streets swell with the youth and the youthful of the local music scene. Staples of the Valley include Fatboys/Rics cafe, Cloudland and the Empire Hotel. By day, excellent restaurants vie for attention amongst organic beauty outlets and cool cafes.
The impressive Chinatown Mall is a hub of exotic Chinese supermarkets and restaurants. The Emporium complex - a five minute walk straight down Wickham Street, channels a European village feel, for a different option. Brunswick St is home to multicultural dining options.
Outside of The Valley you can visit:
✔︎ ✔︎ Brisbane Riverside is 10 minutes walk down the block. Howard Smith Wharf is a must. We love to hire an electric bike and explore the city / botanical gardens after a long lunch or just as a separate activity. You can go over both bridges and do a round loop and travel back home and leave the scooter outside!
✔︎ We love to visit Fish Lane, in South Brisbane, which gives off cool Singapore meets New York vibes with its incredible use of tropical plants and outdoor restaurants underneath the railway. Great Pizza /Contemporary Asian / cocktail bar
✔︎ The Queen Street Mall, Brisbane’s original shopping precinct and heart of Brisbane is only a few blocks away. Great for dept store shopping and luxury fashion outlets - i.e. Hermes, Cartier, Gucci etc.
✔︎ South Bank parklands, museums, art gallery, beach, etc is approximately 30 min walk or very easy by public transport.
✔︎ Brisbane City Cat is actually a gorgeous thing to do at sunset. One of Brisbane’s best features is its glorious open skies / sunsets. Seeing the River City by River cat is a wonderful experience!
