"The biggest challenge with this property is the parking. I knew this before I arrived as I had read several reviews so I thought I was prepared. When checking into most hotels you expect to park in front by the entrance, not the case here. There is a roll up door around the corner that you have to find first. Once entering you follow the signs to the reception desk. No real designated parking for this that I could find. My issue arrived with the strong accent of the very sweet young lady...

My favourite part was relaxing/reading on the banana lounger, in the private garden with it's old worldly charm and hoping some of those kiwi fruit would ripen on the huge vine :) Will stay again when next visiting Canberra, as very well priced and situated in a nice quiet location :)"

"We had a very comfortable stay here with a total of 12 people. Very impressed with the size and cleanliness of the place. We loved the artwork and kitchen appliances provided. My only suggestion to make our stay even better would be more bins and boxes of tissues for the bedrooms, more tea towels in the kitchen and hand towels in the bathrooms."

"We had never done anythibg like this before, it was wonderful, no stress, everything worked etc., towels and linen were provided, Lovely quiet spot, lovely home. Worked winderfully for 4 adults and a 2yo. We had a confusion with the hot stove and Les gave us a call to help us straight away ehich was lovely of him."

"House was clean inside with good appliances Barbecue needs updating we gave it a good clean moved it away from the house window above wall behind covered in grease with no drip tray felt it was a fire hazard lots of big spider webs around the carport & the house which we cleaned plus the verandah 2 power points need to be fixed 1 in kitchen near microwave & 1 in the bathroom we still enjoyed our time @ Pether Cottage & realise it takes time to get things up to date & Thankyou would come again...
