From November 1- April 15 please be aware that the Utah Department of Transportation and Town of Brighton rules about canyon travel require snow tires (3PMSF) or chains to make it safely up the canyon and to the home. YOU NEED TO MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS TO MAKE IT TO THE HOME. DO NOT TAKE UBERS OR LYFTS TO THIS PROPERTY. Snow plowing on neighborhood roads is provided by local vendors and intermittent. Cottonwood Lodging does not have control over snow plowing. Please plan to check in between 4pm-8pm at the latest to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming and note that this home can accommodate ONLY 2 vehicles.

Winter Guided Arrival:
At the request of the town to ensure that no one gets stuck or lost and disturbs locals, a staff member will meet you on the main road and guide you to your property. Plan to check in by 8pm at the latest to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming. Please do not arrive on your own even if you have stayed with us before. This keeps a positive relationship with the neighbors who appreciate it.

With 4 bedrooms and 6 beds, there’s ample space for your family and friends to unwind in the essence of nature. 2.5 bathrooms ensure that everyone has their own space to relax and rejuvenate. The ambiance of the forest outside is brought inside the cabin with its cedar wainscoting, log beds (1 king 4-poster, 3 queens), and adorable bear lamps. Two twin beds are also available, for up to 10 people to sleep comfortably.

Tucked away in the embrace of towering pines and just behind a wooded knoll, you’ll feel like you stepped into a cabin on the edge of a forever forest, cradled in a natural wonderland. Despite its secluded ambiance and location, the cabin remains conveniently close to the ski action. It's just a short 15-minute walk to the ticketing window of Brighton Ski Resort, or a quick 7-minute stroll to the shuttle pickup, providing easy access to the slopes without having to worry about parking.

In the summer, the cabin provides quick access to the stunning hiking trails around Silver Lake and Brighton. Explore the serene beauty of the area, including 6 nearby lakes, returning to your private mountain sanctuary at the end of the day.
