The Space:

Your all-season mountain home at one of the world's premier ski resorts. With an unsurpassed setting at the base of Brighton Ski Resort, this Ski in Ski out paradise features 4 separate homes all in the same enormous ski chalet, 2 PRIVATE SPAS with BBQs and an unmatched location. We are less than 800 feet from Milly Express Ski Lift. The home is in beautiful condition and provides gorgeous mountain views. You cannot beat the setting and amenities this beautiful home has to offer. We are located in a three-story 4-plex with a shared entryway and parking. The rear balconies are also common areas. The canyon can be closed on snow days to cars that don't have 4-wheel drive or chains. Please MAKE SURE your rental car or personal vehicle has those features in the winter, like having a full tank of gas, blankets, food, and water when driving in the canyons. Wheelchair access is only available in the 1 bedroom on the main floor.



You also have the ability to ski back from Solitude Ski Resort. The home is in beautiful condition and boasts gorgeous mountain views. The location of this home and its amazing setting is unmatched.

The Chalet Utah is centered in the heart of Utah's Brighton Ski Resort area where, at an elevation of 8,755 Feet, we have a higher base elevation than any other Utah ski area! And with an average snowfall of over 500 inches per year, it's no wonder why we open our doors and ski runs first each season! We are located in Brighton, Utah, just 19 miles east of Salt Lake City at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon. During the summertime, Brighton is peaceful and serene, but not lacking adventurous activities! You can cast your fishing line into the nearby Silver Lake, which is constantly filled with trout. Not into fishing? You can leisurely wander around the lake enjoying the beautiful views of nature on the environment-protecting boardwalk. These activities are an easy 5-minute walk from our chalets. For those in search of a more difficult hike, there are four beautiful mountain lakes that constantly draw the attention of the ambitious hiker. The popular Guardsman's Pass mountain biking trails bring spectacular views and perfect terrain. Photographers have a heyday at Brighton because of the many amazing images to capture which include fields of the famous Brighton wildflowers. The views captivate tourists as well, who are making their way to Chalet Utah. After exploring the area and taking advantage of the many activities, most days end with a relaxing evening BBQ.



We feature individual private chalets of all sizes for guests who want something more unique than the usual hotels or condos. Our suites come in all sizes, from luxury bridal suites for honeymooners to Manor Chalets with a 1,500 sq. ft. grand room, which we built for ski clubs, family reunions, seminars, and meetings of all types. All of our units include fully furnished kitchens, TVs, DVD players, free high-speed Internet, fireplaces, and plenty of jetted tubs! We are located across the street from the Brighton Resort's Milly Express lift and the LDS Church (The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-Day Saints).

Hidden Falls: 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath (sleeps 4) 1 King bed, 1 Sofa Queen memory foam pull out



Powder Hound: 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath (sleeps 5) 1 king bed, sofa queen memory foam pull out, memory foam pull out ottoman.



Majestic Chalet: 5 Bedroom, 3 Bath (sleeps 16) Dining Space for 10+ With a Private Office and oversized Balcony. King Bed, King Suite, Queen Suite, Queen Suite, Queen Suite + 3 ottoman sleepers, and 3 Queen size sofa sleepers.



Big Cottonwood: 2 Bedroom Bath (sleeps 11) Queen Suite with Triple Bunk Room attached, King Suite with pull out ottoman sleeper with 2 Queen memory foam sleepers.



*Extra Bedding for 2nd bedroom is in the built in closet. There are sheets and throws in there. Pull out couch bedding in living room is in the broom closet by kitchen. The throw blanket was in the closet with the bedding.



Guest Access:

All of our units include access to 2 hot tubs, free high-speed Internet, BBQ, fireplaces, and plenty of jetted tubs! We are located across the street from the Brighton Resort's Milly Express lift and the LDS Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints). The Neighborhood:

With the abundance of snow located right in our backyard, wintertime activities include skiing and snowboarding at Brighton Resort, cross-country skiing at Solitude's Nordic Center, and snowmobiling over Guardsman's Pass, to mention the more vigorous activities.

Getting Around:

Located just 19 miles east of Salt Lake City at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Skiers and snowboarders enjoy an easy 1-minute walk to the Brighton Ski Resort lifts to experience the lighter-than-air snow! Positioned just across the street from Brighton Resort's Milly Express, Our Brighton Chalets provide easy access to the mountain resort!



Other Things to Note:

The Town of Brighton and Big Cottonwood Canyon are extremely important “protected watershed areas” supplying high quality and high quantity drinking water to the thirsty Salt Lake Valley and thus dogs and pets are not allowed in these locations. This home is not pet friendly and we do not allow pets. The County will assess $500 fines if you are caught in the canyon with a dog.
