The Space:

Warm and welcoming, the main living spaces at Hearth and Timber strike the perfect balance between relaxed comfort and refined design. Multiple fireplaces throughout the home, including a striking stone hearth in the living room, create an inviting ambiance for every season. Plush seating invites late-night chats or movie marathons, while the fully equipped kitchen, with its spacious island and forest views, is perfect for preparing group meals. Sip, snack, or socialize at the coffee bar, cocktail station, or the extra-long dining table made for memory-making. The extra-large screened-in porch has its own fireplace, plenty of lounge seating, and a picnic-style table that seats 12. Step outside to gather around the fire pit for s’mores under the stars.



Each of the five bedrooms is thoughtfully styled for comfort and calm, with plush beds, soft linens, and forested views. Framed artwork and personal touches throughout the rooms add character and warmth. A bonus bunk room on the lower level includes a large collection of board games, a game table featuring a built-in chess and backgammon boards, as well as a small library providing a playful hideaway for kids, teens, or anyone seeking a cozy nook to unwind.



The lower level game room includes a professional quality ping pong table, darts, weights and workout equipment as well as bicycles for guest use.

Guests have access to beach chairs, coolers, and a beach wagon to make it a breeze. The pool is stocked with floats, kick boards, water polo nets, masks, goggles, and a variety of toys perfect for hours of sunny fun for all ages.



Tucked along the scenic shoreline of Southwest Michigan, Hearth and Timber places you at the gateway to Harbor Country’s most beloved experiences. Spend sun-drenched days at nearby Weko Beach or explore the towering dunes of Warren Dunes State Park. Bike or hike the ever-expanding trails across Berrien County or visit an endless list of state and county parks. Enjoy wine tasting at nearby wineries like Dablon Vineyards and Round Barn Winery, indulge in farm-to-table dining at Granor Farm, or grab craft beer and wood-fired pizza at Haymarket Brewery. To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.



All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.



The minimum age to rent this home is 25.



A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party, up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.



We welcome up to 2 dogs at this home at no additional charge. Please include the number of pets you plan to bring or let our team know after booking. 



Tom, the property caretaker, helps maintain the pool area and typically clears leaves every other day. Guests are also likely to be welcomed by Moka, Tom’s gentle and beloved dog, who roams the grounds freely. A senior pup with a calm spirit, Moka often waits near the driveway or front door to greet new friends. He is not a stray and is welcome inside the home. If preferred, Tom is happy to keep Moka leashed during your stay—just let us know.



Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
