Ć tefĂĄnik's tomb. Milan Rastislav Ć tefĂĄnik was a Slovak politician, diplomat and astronomer. He was a leading figure in establishing an independent Czechoslovakian state following the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian empire after the First World War. He died in a plane crash in May 1919, and his tomb is situated on Bradlo (543 m) near KoĆĄariskĂĄ, the village in which he was born. There are several hiking trails to get here, including the 115 km Ć tefĂĄnik trail from DevĂ­n castle which passes through Bratislava. #stefanik #hiking #nature #history #malekarpaty

Trnava near Centre
Beautifully decorated place; simple, bright and functional. No doors on rooms, but the bathroom does have a curtain. Great water pressure. New windows, so traffic can only be heard when they are open. The lift is presently being replaced.
