« The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained with good decor. The bathroom had a powerful shower and enough room around the basin for your wash bags. Lighting in the bathroom is always an issue for me (!) so as usual I had my mirror on the window sill in search of natural light. We ate in the pub on the first night, sharing a platter. Good menu. « Absolutely perfect! Stayed here with my brothers for a birthday gathering and family get together. The rooms are lovely with everything you need, staff are friendly and helpful, food (breakfasts and evening meals) plentiful and tasty. Great value! »

« I booked a last-minute night away at The Red Pump Inn in Bashall Eaves, and it completely surpassed my expectations. The pub and accommodation are absolutely charming, with beautiful rooms, perfect location, and wonderful ambiance. However, this 275-year-old establishment had a few surprises up its sleeve! Not only was the food superb, but the 'spirits' were surprisingly friendly. My room had a distinct energy that genuinely surprised a complete non-believer, and the wonderful hosts later...

« The stork hotel/pub was perfect for our first trip away with our puppy. The staff were friendly and welcoming the meals in the evening were lovely. The only complaint we have was breakfast took over an hr to arrive after we mentioned to them we were still waiting for it & a waitress apologised claiming that it was all her fault. When it did arrive the sausages were dried up the bacon was overdone & the fried eggs were hard. Apart from that everything else was great. »

« We stayed here just as a stop over and it was a very small and low double bed in a huge room. It wasnt the cleanest so I was glad I had slippers with me. Shower ceiling was too low for a 6'2 person so my partner had to crouch. The main parts of the hotel looked nice on arrival, but we didnt make use of it. Nice and quiet despite the location. »

« Hôtel très bien placé dans le centre ville mais bien trop bruyant le soir. C'est un lieu de rendez vous ou les gens d'extérieur viennent boire des pots. Le personnel est débordé et du coup n'a pas le temps de gérer les clients de l'hôtel, ce que je déplore totalement. Le petit dej laisse à désirer, il 'y a presque rien. Le personnel nous informé qu'il n'a pas été livré dès croissants ou avocats, ou autre. Ce qui est contrariant et surprenant. Il vous propose deux toasts ! Nicole »

« Wonderful overnight stay with our springer spaniel . Lovely clean and spacious dog friendly room in the Annex with a fabulous view . Set in wonderful grounds with lovely outdoor areas and enjoyed a great circular walk down to the river. All staff were so friendly and the steak for the evening meal was cooked perfectly as was the very generous breakfast . Definitely be back »

« Excellent experience from the moment we arrived at check in to checking out after two fabulous nights. The staff were fabulous, warm and friendly. « This was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. The look of the Ribchester Arms, when we arrived, was impressive. We had a very large room and bathroom, both very modern with a 'fridge and juices, milk, drinks and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and pretty good. We ate there a couple of nights and the food was wonderful. A recommended place to stay . »
