« A lovely old-fashioned hotel in a stunning setting. Comfortable, clean, cozy. On arrival we were surprised to find nobody there even though we'd waited for reception opening time. Our keys were in a plastic bag pinned to a cork board. Explanations were confusing. Breakfast was an epic adventure. The gas stove had broken down and a tremendous effort was made by staff to provide us with a very good Welsh breakfast that was well worth waiting nearly an hour for. « The room was wonderful - the view over the river just subli e. Tina could not have been more helpful and made us feel very welcome and looked after. Location fantastic for walking and seeing many interesting bits and pieces in the area. We loved our picnic on the lawn next to river watching the free bird show! »
