Conversely, there are two bus stops directly behind and adjacent to The Historic Brown that will take you to the base of your preferred peak or across town. This was the best rental property my guests and I have ever stayed in. The kitchen had amazing appliances and was stocked with spices and plenty of dishes/plates/utensils. Each bedroom had a clean, beautifully designed bathroom with shower toiletries, hair driers, and robes (!!) provided. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. We loved the sauna and the outdoor space with the fire pit. Will be booking this again and recommending to everyone I know.

Fantastic property!!

This was the most amazing rental property any of our family have ever stayed at! Cleanliness was top notch and the amenities were great. We hosted a small family dinner for our elopement and the main level was the most amazing space for hosting. We had a chef come cook us a meal and she said it was one of the best kitchens she had ever cooked in! We hope to come back again one day.

The Brown was perfect for our group. They’ve done a wonderful job renovating the hotel and it was a delight to explore all the generous amenities. Pebble ice machine and Jura and traeger grill were fan favorites. Thanks for sharing this home with us. The ghost was very friendly.

It looks exactly like the pictures, the amenities are new, in excellent condition and everything worked flawlessly due to the communication efforts and instructional videos. We had an intimate wedding celebration and were able to host our dearest friends and family comfortably. I would consider myself so lucky to get to stay at this property again.

We have stayed in several VRBO homes but this by far was the most comfortable and well appointed home our family has experienced! The owner and his house manager went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect! Incredibly convenient location! We had car trouble and they even loaned us a vehicle! Historic Brown is Simply Amazing

From the easy communications, to the unbelievable amenities (sauna, spa, hot tub, comfortable beds, poker chips and table, video games, boot warmer and 100 more I could mention) to the ridiculously convenient location, the Historic Brown is simply one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in (ski town or otherwise). Enjoyed so much, I have booked for next year already! A special, gorgeously renovated home that is perfect for any group.

Perfect Ski Location for Large Group

First of all, this entire house was amazing. We very comfortably slept 15 people (8 parents with 7 late teenage boys) in this house with room to spare. The house has four levels to spread out so we never felt like we were crowded at all. The main floor is very spacious and all appliances are high-end. They have thought of everything in this place! There are so many nice additions the owners provide that most VRBO rentals do not (ie. tons of Charmin toilet paper, extra paper towels, tissues, trash bags, dish soap, lots of spices in the spice rack, etc.). Having three sets of washers and dryers was so great to have with so many people. The ski locker room was very spacious and SO NICE to have to store all of our ski stuff. The boys absolutely loved the game room/theater in the basement, poker table and the sauna/steam rooms. The owners truly did a fantastic job including everything you could possibly need (and more) in this house! We all would definitely stay here again....and the history of the house is very interesting too!!!

Perfect location - incredible amenities!

We booked this home for the location, amenities and number of families that could stay in it together. It was absolutely perfect in the proximity to town and the number of bedrooms we needed. We enjoyed the main level where all the family could have a meal together, cook together and watch tv together. The kids loved the basement area and the games! The outdoor space was incredible with the snow falling each day and the hot tub was awesome to come home to after a long day skiing. Knowing the history of this location and the ability to be able to be in town in 3 minutes was great! We loved the home and can't wait to come back! The owner did a great job with the finishes - very high end. We can't wait to see you next year!

Spectacular Historic Home Downtown Breckenridge

Words cannot describe the beauty and comfort of this totally renovated home. It is so awesome to stay in a place you know has original components from the mid-1800’s, but all the modern amenities of the 2020’s! The owners have done and thought of everything, from the oxygen enhanced system, making your sleeping seamless when coming up to altitude, to the tiny details of brass plates tagging the drawers in the kitchen so you know where everything you could possibly need, is located. We were one of their first guests, and they could not have been more helpful or welcoming! We loved being able to walk into town in two minutes!
