GOLDEN FOXES AT CUCUMBER CREEK - Every detail has been realized with state of the art construction and finishes, an open floor plan, stunning views from every window, top of the line Wolf/Sub-Zero appliances in the well-appointed kitchen, and bells and whistles galore! Located in the stunning new Cucumber Creek development on Peak 8, offers luxurious accommodations and easy access to the ski area and downtown Breckenridge.



The Space:

SLEEPING: Bedroom 1 King bed (sleeps 2) - Upper Level; Bedroom 2 Queen bed (sleeps 2) - Main Level; Bedroom 3 King bed (sleeps 2) - Main Level; Bedroom 4 2 twin bunk beds and queen size sleeper (sleeps 4) - Main Level. Pack n play provided.



The Neighborhood:

Located in the pristine nature reserve of Cucumber Patch which is adjacent to the nordic center and 1/4 mile from Peak 8 ski area base. A quick walk to the end of the road will bring you to the shuttle stop which comes by every 10 minutes. Hop on this free shuttle for a two minute ride which will bring you to the base of peak 8 where you will begin your day of skiing/riding. Ski area access could not be easier! Grab the shuttle to and from Main Street as well. The house is located next to the best nordic skiing trails in Breckenridge and in a pristine neighborhood in the heart of Breckenridge's outdoor offerings. Parking for four cars - two in the heated garage and two outdoor spaces. A four wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended during winter months.



Getting Around:

Golden Foxes at Cucumber Creek is located on Peak 8 with a free shuttle stop just a 2 minute walk from the front door. Grab the shuttle for a quick and easy ride to the base of Peak 8 where you will begin your day of skiing. The house is located just 0.8 miles from the ski area base so the shuttle ride is short and easy. If you are feeling energetic, you can also walk to and from the base of Peak 8. In many ways, the shuttle is a more convenient and easy mode of transport than the gondola in that there are no lines at the end of the day and you will be back home sipping hot chocolate while many are still waiting. Or, take the shuttle in the other direction to get to the shops and restaurants on Main Street. Main Street Breckenridge is located just 0.75 miles from the house. The shuttle is free and comes by every 30 minutes in during summer months and every 15 minutes during winter months. It runs until 6:15 to 11pm daily during ski season with similar but a bit more limited hours during shoulder season and summer months. The Breckenridge Nordic Center is located 0.3 miles (a 2 minute walk) from the front door. The Nordic Center trails cover over 2000 acres of natural preserve with spectacular mountain views! 0.8 miles to the base of peak 8 0.75 miles to Main Street Breckenridge 0.4 miles on a path to the mid-station gondola in Shock Hill 0.3 miles (2 minute walk) to the Breckenridge Nordic Center.



Other Things to Note:

Enjoy one of several outdoor areas. Enjoy outdoor dining for 6 and a Weber gas grill. Luxuriate in the lower patio area while enjoying the fire pit and six person hot tub. Warm your toes after a long day of outdoor activities with the in floor radiant heat.

Cancellation Policy: Once the reservation is confirmed and the first portion of the payment has been made, those funds are non refundable. The remaining balance will be due thirty days before your arrival. Once the balance is paid, that portion is also non-refundable. If the ski area shuts down or a public health order prevents us from hosting you during your reserved time, you will be eligible for a full refund or will be able to reschedule. An Amazing Stay in Breckenridge!!

The accommodations were spacious and clean! Lots of family activities within driving distance. Close to downtown with a variety of shops and dinner options. There were even board games provided for rain-in days. I also appreciate being able to easily connect my cable service so we were able to watch our favorite TV shows! Overall, we had an amazing experience!

Amazing home for a great stay in Breck

We stayed at this amazing home for a week and absolutely loved it! First, the location is perfect - quiet cul de sac, beautiful views and right on Cucumber Gulch. The home was extremely clean, the most well stocked home we have stayed in with no details left out. We enjoyed siting on the deck, hot tub and fire pit on the quiet back patio and fun with the retro arcade game! And of course morning and evening hikes around Cucumber Gulch. This is a perfect home for an awesome family vacation. The owners clearly hope their guests feel at home and love their stay.

Amazing Property!

This VRBO did not disappoint - and there were 8 of us! Four bedrooms, each having an attached bathroom, were perfect for our group of 4 couples. This place has ample supplies for your stay. Simply top-notch! The views of the mountains are spectacular. The location is perfect as you can hop on the gondola or the bus. Both of these options were free. Breckenridge is a fun town to explore. If you're thinking of renting this place you definitely will not be disappointed. So much fun!

Winter Wonderland

This property was perfect for us, (6 adults) and close to everything! We walked to the Breckinridge nordic center for snow shoeing and was able to walk downtown. The house had the best of everything, along with everything you could use. The kitchen was amazing and we made many meals. All of the appliances were top notch and fully stocked ( laundry, dish detergent, hand soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and plenty to restock). The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were all spacious. There were lots of areas to hang out, eat and play games. The guys used the jacuzzi and enjoyed it. We loved everything about the Vrbo and would stay here again! Thanks so much!!

Wonderful house in quiet neighborhood

Our family had a wonderful January in this beautiful 4-bedroom house. It is only several years old and everything was working and up to date. The pantry was stocked with many spices and essentials, making cooking easy. Having a large kitchen with an adjoining family room for cooking and hanging out is so nice. It is a short walk to the bus stop at the end of the street to either go up to the lifts or downtown. We had a lot of snow during the middle week and the driveway and porches were cleared daily. It is a very quiet culdesac with very few houses occupied. Behind the house is the cross country track and the front of the house looks out to the mountains. So nice sometimes to just sit in the house by the fireplace and watch it snow. We did not have a car and did not even miss it. We had groceries delivered and even took the bus over to Frisco for the day. The house is just a couple of blocks from the Nordic Center and one of the highlights of the trip was an afternoon spent on a snowcat tour including a sledding trip and s'mores in a remote cabin. Tom was an excellent and entertaining driver and guide for the trip. This was our first time staying on this side of Breckenridge and we loved it.

Lovely home

Great home with a nice layout, comfortable beds and furniture. This house will make you happy! There is plenty of room for gathering, each bedroom has its own bathroom and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking during your stay. The location allows fairly easy access to the gondola and the trails surrounding Cucumber Gulch. We would definitely recommend.

Perfect Summer Breckenridge Family Vacation Home

No detail was left behind on this property- it was just perfect for our extended family vacation. The space/bedrooms/bathrooms were perfect for the group of 10 we had (6 adults, 4 children/teens). The location was a short walk to the Shock Hill gondola stop that could take you to downtown Breck or up the mountain (Peak 8). The shuttle is also a 5 min walk from the house, but we didn't didn't actually use it so I can't comment on that. There were a few trails you could access right from the house, and we saw deer and foxes from the deck. We used the hot tub and the fire pit and both were in great condition. The kitchen had every appliance and dish you need and more. The house had several games we played at night as well. I have stayed at several properties over the years in various locations with family, and this was just the best! The owners left detailed info for the house along with their personal recommendations for restaurants and shops, and Fonda Mueller made everything straight forward and easy. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful spot, 1 block from the bus stop for a short ride up to peaks 7 & 8. All the comforts of home and plenty of room for my brothers family and mine. Management was great, the whole experience was fantastic!

Beautiful home in a perfect location

Our group of 6 had a wonderful week at this property. The home was beautiful, clean, and had all of the things we needed and more! Extra touches like fans in each room, humidifiers, and a kitchen filled with appliances made us feel right at home. Awesome Unit, Great Location, Responsive Management

The property is nearly pristine and brand new. The open layout and some of the little details made it feel like home away from home for 10 days. The unit has a ton of plates, glasses, and anything else you might need to gather as a family plus friends. The mini-arcade can keep kids (and adults) busy for hours when not on the slopes. The bunk bed was a hit for the kids, the hot-tub and fire pit great for the adults. The nordic track is a stone's throw away in 3 directions. The Shock Hill gondola stop is a 5 minute walk through some areas that might eventually be developed, but for now that gave us walkable access to/from the slopes. Tough to find many negatives... maybe the garage is a little tight for 2 cars because of the awesome boot warmer/dryer and all the trash cans to keep the mess to a minimum? (if you want to call that a negative.) The master bedroom and bathroom are too cavernous? (if you prefer tiny and cozy, the master isn't for you.) Once we got in touch with Fonda and TJ, anything we needed taken care of was done same day. Check this place out if you can!

The home was very nice. New with high end appliances. Very close to the shuttle and a shirt ride to peak 7 or 8. The old arcade unit was also really enjoyed by the kids.
