« Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx »

« We had already expected a lot from the advertisement. But seeing the house was overwhelming. We spent an unforgettable week as a group of seven friends in a luxurious house in a beautiful setting.the only regret was that we were not able to take full advantage of the many facilities offered by the estate, such as the walled garden. »

« This cottage is so nice you won't want to leave the house. The layout is perfect and incredibly functional, and the style is pristine and tasteful. There is a laminated guidebook with info about the appliances, temp control, amenities, nearby hikes. Everything was in stock, everything worked. The skylights have blinds/shades and can be cracked open for air, and the lighting options inside are numerous. Sometimes you see houses that have been flipped with superficial touches yet they fail at...

« Very good location with a lot of good-quality equipment. Owners give a lot of advices for shopping and knowing the area. Very good spot to travel around (Cairgorms, Carthes Castle, Aberdeenshire...). Very quiet .. the only neighbours who made noises were the sheeps :-). We spent a wonderful week there. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at Birnie House Cottage and Aileen and Bob really made us feel welcome. They were so helpful and kind, always helping to plan our outings. The cottage was very cosy and we also loved the garden, the squirrels, the walk in the woods with the dogs... Also conveniently located for trips to Edinburgh, Perth, Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen and lots of castles. Thanks a lot and hope to see you again! »
