Enjoy our fishing and boat pier, but please respect neighbors and use only our pier. Please clean up all fishing gear and trash before leaving.
NO eating in the beds and bunks to keep the space clean and comfortable. Absolutely no glitter or silly string is allowed inside or outside the home.
WHITE towels are for bathroom use only. We provide plenty of beach towels for guests to use while enjoying the river and outdoor activities.

The home is so beautiful and was absolutely perfect for our trip! It was so beautifully furnished, and the out door area is wonderful for gathering with the family around a fire! Kevin was super quick and helpful for any questions I had. The fishing was great and we will definitely book again in the future.

We just wanted to fish and rest. We did! The hosts are very attentive - you will want for nothing. The house had everything you would need. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds were very comfortable. Everyone appreciated the cleanliness of the house and grounds. The games were on this weekend so the tvs in each bedroom came in handy. We got a slow start fishing but our host gave us some pointers and it was on after that. The only thing we would change is bringing something for the mosquitos but even that didn't stop us. The host provided a basket of goodies to make smores - Thank you for that! We found the wood for the fire pit too late but we will remember it for the next time. We will be back. We can say thank you enough for everything :)

Awesome stay!

The house was very open and plenty of space for multiple guests. We loved fishing on the dock and the neighborhood was very friendly! If I had any questions the host responded quickly and was very helpful.

Must visit this home away from home!!

WE LOVED THIS GETAWAY! We didn't want to leave. Host was awesome. He came out personally and assisted with our internet connection and told us more about the area. Perfect way to enjoy the San Bernard River and it’s an easy drive to several beach areas during the day. Can’t say enough good stuff about the house itself.

High Tide

Due to Hurricane Beryl it was too late to cancel this VRBO. We were not able to access the river due to high tides during our entire stay. Once we washed off the outside patio (Front and Back) and swept the interior floor the place was nice and accommodating!! Our host Kevin was great!

Beautiful house! Great location on the San Bernard River. Close to our family. We loved sitting in the backyard looking at the river. Enjoyed coffee in the morning. The property manager has everything beautiful.

April 2024 Beach & Fishing Trip

We enjoyed our stay on the San Bernard River. We were able to catch a few legal black drum even though the water was dirty due to rain and wind. This place was evenly spaced between Freeport and Sargent so we went to one Freeport beach one day and Sargent beach the other. Had fun on the beach both days. Then came back to house to relax, cook nice meals, and hang out by the fire. I don't think we turned on the TV but once or twice. Property owner was very friendly and made every effort to ensure we has a great trip.

Great weekend and family Christmas party

Had a wonderful time with the family. We had 20 of us together playing games, opening gifts, enjoying each other without the hassle and work of doing it all at home. This is a beautiful home with a great open floor plan that can accommodate crowds as well as be cozy for couples. The hosts were amazing. Communication was top notch. They knew we were doing our family Christmas and had the home decorated perfectly. Could not have asked for anything more out of our trip. Thank you Kevin & Lucinda

My husband's 40th birthday.

The property is beautifully decorated and when they say fully furnished it was.. Had a blast fishing and we were able to take brother inlaw boat out on the water. Property was very clean and relaxing we want to book another stay soon.

We loved everything about this rental! The house was awesome (very roomy), porch with fire pit was perfect for making s’mores with the kids, and the river was great for swimming and fishing! We would definitely love to stay again.

Family Vacation on the River

The property was perfectly located on a beautiful spot on the the river for our large family to enjoy and celebrate the July fourth holiday week. The home was clean, large, and very well maintained.
