« This was hands down the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and cheery. They made us feel at home and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The wait staff was exceptional as well. The food was excellent, the setting idyllic, and location walkable to The Chatsworth House! We could not wait to write a glowing review as we cannot recommend this hotel enough! We suggest you give your entire staff a raise as they were top notch and whoever hired them...

« Loved this place. The setting is beautiful as was our room. A real mixture of old and new that worked perfectly. The staff were really friendly and attentive and we truly felt welcome. We opted for the pie for dinner and I can honestly say, it was the best pie I have ever eaten. The pastry was amazing and it was filled to the max with the ham and leek. My only criticism is that I didn’t really rate the mattress, the bed was too hard for me. Additionally, a blind on the Velux window would be...

« Good location, good price. Looks lovely from outside. However, inside, carpets needs cleaning as our feet were sticking to it. Kids room light was flickering, twice approached different members of staff but nothing was done. Not enough mugs in the room (only 2 in a family room). »

« Très belle chambre, grand confort et la cadeau de bienvenue était un vrai bonus nous qui adorons le Titanic ! Par contre petit couac, il n’y avait pas de produit d’hygiène dans la salle de bain pour la douche. De plus le petit déjeuner était fermé ce jour là. Mais nous avons été orienté vers un très bon endroit. »

« Our stay was a journey down memory lane for me. The hotel was still lovely and popular, the room was clean and albeit small as a twin, it was in keeping with such a historic building and the lady on the bar, who checked us in couldn’t be more welcoming. The kitchen even catered amazingly for a veggie and a vegan option breakfast. The hotel is centrally located for the beautiful village of Eyam’s history trail, tea rooms and local walks with good parking facilities. »
