Don't stay on any floor but the top floor. We were on the 2nd floor & holy heck, it sounded like a race track upstairs. Be sure to bring your own body wash, shampoo & conditioner. At these premium stay prices, they are not included. Bring your own coffee/filters, laundry pods/fabric softener, also not included. The pools are packed at all times, don't con yourself into believing you'll have a peaceful stay. Location is great though if you're SDC focused!
Trash outside room upon arrival and still there 3 days later. Toaster didnât work and 2 burners on stove did not work. Shuttles to SDC had issues. No paper towels or coffee filters
The pictures make the pools seem much larger than they actually are. Rooms were ok but very dated. Since the doors open directly to the outside, flys and bugs in the rooms became a real nuisance.
We stayed in a two queen bed room. I liked the fact there was a regular size coffee maker & filters in the room. Also, silverware, plates, and cups. Nice touch.
I did not care for the pool areas. The pools were small, and shallow made for children. Oasis pool is nice if you get there early. It's a resort for family with young children not three adults like my party.
Lake area has no beach area to swim, I would call it marsh.
Very far from the attractions. I spent a lot of money on gas, and a lot time traveling back and forth to Branson.
The resort would be great for family with small children, and grandparents. Not much for adults.
Lets start with the positives. The 3 pools are great. Different sizes for all ages. The pool with the slide and waterfall my 4 boys loved. Rooms were ok. Every wall is so thin and you can hear every cough, belch, laugh, chair moving, and loud snoring of the person above our floor. Definitely not non smoking rooms. Couches were well worn and had 3 cigarette burns on it. Washer/Dryer was great to have. The worst part about the whole resort is the amount of cigarette smell EVERYWHERE! Supposed to be no smoking on patios. We tried 6 evenings and 5 mornings and a few afternoons to enjoy the beauty of the back patio facing the gorgeous lake but everytime within a few minutes of joy our area was filled with cigarette smoke from the people above and some on the 2nd floor just to the right. We tried using the fan on high but never helped. Also it was very disgusting and sad they allow smoking in the pool areas. Watching my kids and others little babies and toddlers walking through clouds of both cigarettes and vapes was sickening. We should not all be forced to breathe that toxic stuff in our lungs nor our 4 kids. Unacceptable in todays knowledge of the damaging effects it has on the human body. Overall would never stay again as this was a bother to all 6 and even as loading our vehicle today to head home, our kids said this place just smells horrible all the time, as a guy was smoking on the balcony and we had to walk through the clouds. Would not recommend if you are a non smoker.
We went as a FAMILY and my 11-yr old had a lot of FUN. There was something for everybody there; everything that we needed was at the resort; yet if you did not like something at the resort everything was close by. Food was close by; shopping was close by. We had 3 pools, and they were all friendly/safe; the lake was amazing (even with all the storms before our arrival) it was amazing; my son went with his grandfather every morning/night for Kayaking/Wheeler. Shuttle was available from resort to dollar city - amazing. We will definitley use this resort again.
We had a fun time. The swimming pools were clean and not too busy. The room was mostly clean just a little beat up. The staff was nice and property had a lot of free amenities.
