Completely renovated in 2022, our private 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin on Red Sand Lake is the ultimate year-round retreat for families, friends, golfing getaways, snowmobile trips, and fishing adventures. Nestled in the Brainerd Lakes Area, our cabin offers the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience—just 5 minutes from Cub Foods, Costco, Target, local bars, and Madden’s Resort.

Big table was perfect for 8 adults to gather and catch up! Lots of counter space. Fully stocked kitchen. Some VRBOs have limited serving or cooking dishes. This one had lots to choose from.Neighborhood was quiet. Enough parking, we had 4 vehicles. Loved that they provided firewood. Fire pit was big enough for 8 adults to stay warm on a chilly night! Linens were soft and no one complained about the beds. Overall, the group was happy and would stay there again.

This home was perfect for our annual cabin trip with two other families. The bunk room in the basement fit all of the kids and they had a blast rooming together. The basement was a fun hang out for them too! We loved the large table in the kitchen. It could seat our large group of 12! The kids & dads enjoyed fishing off the dock and they caught tons on fish! Our kids loved playing on the lily pad in the water. The beach area has really soft sand. The kids also loved the tire swing out front. The garage was a nice bonus area too! This cabin truly has everything you could need!

Our family had a very nice stay at this cabin. We had plenty of space for our four families, beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the utensils we needed, and more! The owner was very responsive to questions. Check in and out was easy.

Lots of room for everyone to have space, close to town, but quiet on the lake. Check in was simple, very prompt and easy communication, and we had no issues during our stay. The kitchen is fairly well stocked and the filtered water at the sink was nice. We had fun on rainy days with the games, the ping pong in the garage and also enjoyed the fire pit and lily pad.

Great location. Great host. We had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone! We were here for powercruise at brainerd international speedway. So we had a lot of cars. The garage here was spacious enough to hold two of them and then the long driveway held the remaining ones. It was also only a 5 minute drive from the house to the track!

Family Lake House Vacation

We enjoyed our 7 day family vacation. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Our host was very nice and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed trying our luck fishing from the dock, using the kayaks, the wild flowers, watching the birds like loons, osprey, blue jays and orioles to name a few, toasting marshmallows around the fire pit, and playing board games with our grandchildren. I will recommend this beautiful place to friends and family, and would gladly come back to stay!

Great Stay!

Great cabin. Was very clean and spacious. We stayed in winter so didn't get to enjoy the lovely lake but still had a fantastic stay. The cabin accommodated 9 of us perfectly. Extended family stay for wedding weekend. Very comfy beds! Great campfire wood supply and beautiful views. Used the oversized dining room table frequently, great set up for us. Good communication and great location to Baxter.

Great lake house!

TJ's property on Red Sand Lake was a great location for our family of 10. The kids loved having a nice sandy beach to play in. The adults loved the kayaks, fire pit, and the proximity to town. When we arrived, we noticed some dirt on the kitchen floor, but TJ had someone from his cleaning crew come out to mop the floors right away. Otherwise the property was in great shape. TJ was a very responsive host and we look forward to staying there again next year!

Family Vacation

The house was great! It was loaded with games to play for all ages, had a table big enough for our party of 10 to sit at togetherfor meals. Outside there was a nice beach area for the kids to play in the sand with sand toys that were provided, along with a nice swing set for the kids to play on. We werent able to swim due to the weeds in the lake, but we did find a public beach about 12 minutes away that was really nice for the kids to swim at. We werent far from safari wilderness zoo, which was a hit with the whole family. TJ was great to work with, and answered all our questions.

Wonderful, Magical and Incredible Place! I Recommend!!

This VRBO is truly an incredible place to stay right in the heart of Brainerd/Baxter! Central location, close to everything! The owner, TJ, is very communicative, thoughtful and caring! My family absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful 4 bedroom 3 bath staycation right on the lake of Red Sand Lake. The public access is less than 100 yards away…beautiful beach…campfire pit… super clean rooms and incredible kitchen/full family dining table… even a huge selection of board games! I highly recommend this place for you and your family! We had a blast!!

Great spot for a girls weekend

Four girlfriends and I rented this property for girls weekend. The open concept layout of the kitchen and living space was perfect. The property was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The cabin is super close to Baxter so if you need anything Target is a quick trip into town. TJ was very responsive and a great host. Thank you!
