Heart of Texas House đĄ
Recently showcased in the Getaway section of the June â24 issue of Texas Highways Magazine! Relax with the whole family at the peaceful Heart of Texas house. A renovated home with a patio, a large yard for dogs, and no neighboring lots. A park is located behind the house that offers a track for walking or jogging and a full size basketball court. In addition to the 4 beds there is a sleeper sofa in the living room. Silverware, dishes, Kuerig, microwave, toaster, towels, shampoo, body wash, etc. are all available to make your stay as close to home as possible!
The home was very comfy and homie. My only concerns is that it needed a real good cleaning. Behind the toilets, the outdoor cabinets there were cobwebs ,dust that you could write in. Dog hair that gathered in the corner and thereâs more I did take pictures if I needed the proof. but the set up of the house was really nice and I would stay there again if it was cleaned properly.
The best stocked VRBO we have rented, they had thought of everything and had plenty of it! The owner was fast to respond and super courteous, even when we asked to add a last minute pet. We ended up not bringing our dog but owner had told us she was welcome..they love pets!Super clean and comfy, we recommend them highly!
Perfect place for us to stay for our family reunion, it was cute and cozy and minutes from the park & event center. We will stay again for the next reunion!!
We really enjoyed are stay hope to rent it out again next year for our family gathering peaceful, quit ,relaxing clean also got to meet Shane very nice we really appreciate your hospitality thank you and God bless.
Main areas mostly clean and comfortable like beds, furniture, towels, microwave, table, chairs, etc. Seems like a quick cleaning job between guests though. A couple of left behind used items (towel behind door, toy truck under chair) and mud on patio furniture, butter and crumbs in refrigerator). Oven door wouldn't seal closed to keep oven on and working. Overall, it was good enough for us and our pets to visit family for a few days. Plenty of room. Would likely stay again.
We enjoyed meeting up with our adult children and having plenty of room to relax and hang out. Bedding was so comfortable. Nice backyard as well. If our travels bring us back to Brady we would stay here again!
Property was as described. Clean, neat, and easy to find. Not on Main Street and not in noisy neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and host was very easy to work with.
Nice pet friendly property with large yard in quiet neighborhood. Check in was a breeze and booklet about the property had all the additional info we needed.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would gladly do so again. The only hiccup we had was that there was sub-freezing weather that took out the water from our last night there. The host was very accommodating and apologized for the inconvenience. Other than this snafu, which again, things just happen sometimes, we had a great stay and if we're in the area again will happily look to stay here again.
We were in town from Seabrook to look at property. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We bought the property, so weâll definitely be back until we have accommodations built. Thank you for having us!
House was great for four adults flying in for a family wedding. Quiet street, comfortable beds, plenty of space for all of us and all of our stuff. Tons of fluffy towels, plenty of hot water. Canât beat the nightly rate. Owners left us a nice note and gift card for snacks (thank you!) and were very responsive to questions. Dishwasher was broken, but doing them by hand was no big deal - we didnât make much of a mess since we were out doing wedding activities all weekend. Great place to stay for a good nightâs sleep under the starry skies in the heart of Texas.
