Good stay.

Checked in early with an early check in fee. Didn’t think that was necessary. House was clean and pool was nice. Need some more basic kitchen supplies. Pots and pans. Sprinklers went on at checkout time, so we had to walk through them to back our car. Maybe adjust them for a different time. All in all great location and host.

Family Getaway

Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Loved the open floor plan and all the natural light. The kitchen area was nice everything easily accessable to prepare our family meals. The pool area was great with a grill available for use. The neighborhood is super quiet and close to grocery stores, gas stations, etc. The hosts were very communicative and super accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful vacation home that is spacious and open. The house was very clean when we arrived and it had everything we needed for the pool and beach (towels, cooler, chairs, rafts). The neighborhood is so quiet and being on the canal was great for bird watching. We had an issue with the fridge and Jill was great communicating with us. The issue was fixed within 24 hours, they had a brand new fridge delivered! The home had little extras like a window you can serve food through so people can stay outside at the pool and two living rooms with lots of seating. My teens enjoyed the bikes and fishing poles in the garage. We really enjoyed this property and hated to leave, highly recommend!

Beautiful, spacious home with great pool setting

We had a great stay at Jill's house! She was great to communicate with, got back very quickly when I had questions. The house was very spacious and comfortable and clean and our kids loved swimming in the pool and hot tub! Would highly recommend!

Amazing week

Home was so much bigger and more open than pictures even looked! And it was clean and well stocked with the essentials. We have a family of five, plus two grandparents. The set up was fantastic to give everyone space when needed to be together or separate. Area was nice and I felt very comfortable going out for a morning run. Pool was a dream, we used it and the hot tub every day. Kids loved evening swims after a day at the beach, while grandpa enjoyed the hot tub for the well being of his knees! Beach was close, but depending on time of day…we needed to have some patience. Holmes Beach was our favorite.

Very disappointing

We've had many great stays with VRBO over the years.This was not one of them.Speaking with good friends about this last few weeks, we'd say that we much prefer to stay in a well-kept property that is represented truthfully in the listing and backed by a fair and kind host. Instead, upon our arrival, we discovered that the property had been double-booked for the first week of our 3 week reservation. After booking and paying months in advance and receiving confirmations, we were out. We've got friends almost two hours away and drove to stay with them that night. The remainder of the first week, we were assigned, in our opinion, an inferior property. We were then hoping that the remaining two weeks of our stay would be a positive experience. Sadly, the experience with this property and host continued to disappoint, casting an unfortunate tone over our long-awaited annual trip to sunny Florida. On a more positive note, we always enjoy the beautiful AMI beaches. In the future, we will be certain to look very closely at photos for property upkeep, trust that pools, spas and furniture, etc. are clean, safe and in good working order, and stay only with hosts truly deserving of the premier description.

Perfect getaway

Property was clean but you could tell that it may have been vacant for a couple weeks. Problems with the hot tub but got resolved on the third day. It was very nice to be able to use the garage to park in. Lots of room for a large family to enjoy. Perfect outdoor area by pool to relax around.

Very solid property managed by good owners

This is a great house for large groups as we were 10, it was the perfect size with room to spare. Pool and spa area was nice with a half bathroom directly off the deck area. The house is older and does show some wear and twar but everything worked. Beds were very comfortable. There were tons of dishes and noce little touches like sunscren and beach bags for your use.

Perfect spot for many!

The location was perfect for us, and our stay was nothing short of wonderful. The house is ideally situated on a quiet, safe street just minutes from everything. You'll be able to walk to a nature reserve or a nearby state park to witness the most stunning sunsets or take a quick 5-minute drive to reach all the stores. The beach is a 12-minute drive away, and there is no traffic to worry about. The house was sparkling clean and designed perfectly, with two separate living rooms ensuring that both the kids and the adults had their own space. The clean pool, which the house wraps around, offers a picturesque view of a quiet canal where turtles and cranes make daily appearances. With only one house in view, it feels incredibly secluded, providing the perfect retreat for relaxation. Plus, the pool area has plenty of sun and shade for everyone in our group to enjoy. On top of all this, the host was incredibly kind and responsive to all our needs. Check-in and checkout were a breeze. We paid a minimal fee, and they accommodated a pretty early check-in and checkout. Trust me, I've already made up my mind to stay here again when I go back to AMI. It's an experience that's simply hard to resist!

Great Location

We loved the location and the size of the home. Jets not working in the hot tub. Light out in the pool. This is not good when swimming at night. Biting gnats were awful may need to spray. Toilet rocks in half bath. Sheets in the master needs to be thrown away. No dresser in the master so we worked out of our suitcases. There were other issues but not worth mentioning.

Wildlife just feet away

Although we certainly enjoyed using the pool and spa, my wife and I agreed that watching the wildlife in the water out back was a highlight. There was a fallen tree trunk leaning into the water that had as many as 9 turtles sunning themselves. We saw a Blue Heron, a Snowy Egret, White Ibises, Malards, Cormorants, and Wood Ducks. It was a wonderful place to relax.

Great place for families

This place accommodated our family of 8 without a problem. We had plenty of room to do family games, eat together and just spend evenings together all in one area. The owners were absolutely wonderful to work with and gave quick responses to any questions. They had a wonderful pool and hot tub that was warm enough to use in January. Our family loved it here.

Magical Thanksgiving Family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious, beautiful home. We were a family of five adults and three children under 10. We also entertained another family of 6 for Thanksgiving, with plenty of room for 9 adults and 5 kids inside and around the fabulous pool and spa. The pool area was a huge benefit,as it was enjoyed by all, especially the kids, who swam every day. The house immaculately clean and comfortable. Thank you to the very attentive host as well.

Perfect for our family!

The house was gorgeous and clean. Very safe and quiet neighbourhood. The host was easily reachable. The pool was clean and working very well. We went to Anna Maria Island most of the days and it was a short drive, easy access. Very small detail, but we were 8 adults and there were not enough beach supplies (chairs, trolley and decent cooler). It would be a nice improvement considering the location (near beaches).
