We booked this property specifically because it was advertised as having a “chairlift in the backyard” and appeared under VRBO’s ski-in/ski-out filter. We paid a premium price based on that expectation. Unfortunately, this was completely inaccurate. There is no chairlift in the backyard, and this is not a ski-in/ski-out property.This wasn’t a minor detail—it was the main reason we chose this home. We traveled with a large group, including several children, and one of the things everyone was most excited about was being able to ski in and out right from the condo. When we arrived and realized that wasn’t the case, it was a major disappointment. The kids were especially let down, and it significantly changed the experience we had planned.The listing is very misleading, and we did not feel we received what we paid for. Because of this, the property does not justify the premium price compared to other options that truly offer ski-in/ski-out access.To be fair, the condo itself was fine—clean and generally as expected. Some bedrooms were even better than described (a few listed as queens were kings). However, it claims to sleep 18 but only offers parking for two vehicles, which is not practical for a group of that size.Overall, the inaccurate listing had a significant negative impact on our trip.
