Step outside and immerse yourself in lake life at its finest. The private dock, with approximately 4.5 feet of water depth, is your gateway to endless fun and relaxation. Take full advantage of the 4 kayaks and 2 stand-up paddleboards provided for exploring the shimmering waters of Lake Gaston. Whether you’re paddling along the shoreline, casting a line for the catch of the day, or going for a swim, the dock offers something for everyone.

To get you started...

The bathrooms are stocked with courtesy soaps and shampoos designed for quick "off the shelf" use.   Each bathroom has a roll of septic-friendly toilet tissue as a starter. You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy items provided.

The kitchens are stocked with one roll of paper towels, one trash bag for the kitchen trashcan, trial-size dish soap, two dishwasher pods and 1 brand new sponge!  You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy items provided.

A few more tid-bits...  :)

1. No Pets: Trained service animals are welcome!  Otherwise, we have a strict "no pets" policy.  We can help arrange lodging for your pets at a local boarding facility during your stay. Please let us know well in advance, as they fill up fast.

2.  Septic System: The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system.  This system is a finely balanced biological system.  Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper.  Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.

3.  Navigating the Lake: Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves.  Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the dock with rental boats. Please make sure to bring your bumpers!.

4.  Culverts & Bridges:  Be sure to lower your Bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts on different areas of the lake.  Appearances can be deceiving, and the water levels can flucuate daily!

5.  Life Jackets: Some lifejackets are provided for guest use, but sizes and availability may not suit everyone. Guests are encouraged to bring their own to ensure they have the appropriate safety gear for each individual. Additional lifejackets can be purchased locally or borrowed from the nearby Coast Guard Auxiliary.

6.  Security Camera Disclosure: We value your privacy and take it very seriously. Please note that this home is equipped with exterior security cameras for safety and security purposes. These cameras are positioned to monitor outdoor areas only and do not record sound. Your comfort and peace of mind are our top priorities.
