Nestled in the heart of the Somerset countryside, our shepherd hut Collie offers a peaceful, luxury escape in a tranquil half‑acre setting that once flourished as an apple orchard. Today, this serene space is home to two beautifully handcrafted, self‑contained shepherd huts, each thoughtfully designed for comfort, relaxation, and romance.

Step inside your private hideaway and enjoy a cosy, well‑equipped space perfect for unwinding. Curl up beside the wood‑burning stove (firewood included), watch a film on the smart TV, or drift off in the king‑size bed tucked into a charming alcove. The kitchen includes everything you need for easy meals: a microwave oven, double gas hob, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, and toaster.

The ensuite shower room features a flushing toilet, heated towel rail, and fresh towels, plus separate towels for the wood‑fired hot tub. Soft bathrobes and slippers are also provided for a little extra luxury after a soak or a refreshing shower.

To welcome you, we include a complimentary breakfast pack for your first morning with tea, coffee, fresh milk, and a selection of treats. During the cooler months, you’ll also find hot chocolate waiting to keep things extra cosy.

We’re proudly dog‑friendly. One well‑behaved dog is welcome (small fee applies), and we’re happy to consider two small dogs depending on breed and size - please enquire. Returning guests enjoy free dog stays on future visits. We provide bowls, towels, treats, and poop bags so your pup feels right at home.

For those who love to explore, we’re ideally located for many of Somerset’s top attractions: Glastonbury Tor, Wells Cathedral, Cheddar Gorge, and Glastonbury Abbey are all within easy reach.
